Nobody comments my poems?

Never get any feedback because nobody comments my poems, is this the same with alot of people?

Yes a lot of people don't get feedback - but in time people will comment.

I will have a look at some of your poems, sometimes you just got to ask and other times - let it take its course.

Another way to get your name out there is by giving good, in depth comments to other people on their poems. That will make people curious about who you are, and then.... voila!

I disagree that this is self-promotion. I think it's a valid concern that poets/poems can go unnoticed on PnQ for considerable amounts of time...

Advice:
Comment on others' poetry.
Post in the Request to Read/Comment Poems forum.
Show your face on the discussion boards - people will become interested in your works.

My name is like a riddle, the translation ends with a question mark
It's a name, which was taken from the angel, who was a hierarch
Who is like God? Is the question that is asked of you and me?
If you look around it is not really that hard for anyone to see
The answer might be, [nobody] could be. But sometimes I tend to disagree

Because if the answer is [nobody] could be
It would be a scary thought if [nobody] would be
If [nobody] could create with his simple mind.
What kind of world, do you think you would find?

And it does not really matter that [nobody] cares
[Nobody] is just a man. Who wants to put on airs?
But if he could unite with the One he is supposed to be like
He would not want to be called anything but Mike

But if you think I am [nobody] you had better give it a second thought
I would not want you to make me into something I am not
If I could be [nobody], I would like to be,
The [nobody], that loves you, that is not hard, to see

This is the appropriate place for the thread as far as I'm concerned. The "newbie" isn't getting blanked or moved :) The entirety of his post is still at the top, not deleted or edited by anyone.

Even though I post a new poem every now and then and comment constructively on many poems ..

I guess we need Rabea and Noura back then!

Try hitting up the request to read/comment forum. You generally get feedback there (at a cost of course.. you comment their poetry). :)

No. I don't like to ask for comments.
I believe someday I'll get 50 comments/day :P
