Here is what I posted in my club : We went to the place where we had our first date, and we walked around after dinner to see the sunset and take pics. Well I was taking pictures and he goes are you ready? I didn't want to go home but I was like yeah I guess. I turn around and he's down on one knee with my ring. I lost it and cried for an hour!!!

The ring is gorgeous, ill put pics online once we get through telling our families. Most of mine know, I was on the phone all night hahaha. It's got one big princess cut diamond with two smaller round diamonds on each side, five diamonds total.

The part that really made me bawl? He asked my Dad for his blessing. He knew how important that was to me, and even after all the crap that's gone on, Dad met with him and gave him the blessing. He wants Jason to keep in touch about wedding plans, and Jason told him he WILL be there to walk me down the aisle.

Woohoooooo! My mother always said you're only supposed to congratulate the man on scoring the girl. You're not supposed to congratulate the girl, just wish her happiness- apparently, the female is always more entitled than the male here. But enough about my mother.

Thank you Nicko :) I'm ready to take the plunge. He knows what he's in for.. lol

We don't have many details right now. I have the place in mind, and the time is up to my pastors schedule really. He had planned to take next summer off from weddings, but his wife said we can bribe them into it (she loves M&Ms and requested those). It will be June or July of next year.

It will be at an elk farm (helloooo, I'm country). It's outdoors and full of oak trees, green grass and grape vineyards. Plus elk, so that'll be cool for goofy pics. I plan to go with a pale yellow for my bridesmaids and they'll be wearing brown cowboy boots, just decided today. I'll have three bridesmaids, one of them being Chelsey from this site :)

We don't really have much else planned yet, once we get the details of the date and get the site booked then I can start really planning. I'll be incessantly googling for centerpiece ideas and what not for the next few months for sure.

Yellow ? did you choose that on purpose ?
