The "Vortex"

The vortex that I am speaking of is your happy place. Meaning what makes you happy? So in this thread if you nee to be happy or want to feel even better then you already do then you already do.

My vortex is talking to my friends. Listening to music. And seeing other people that are also in their vortex.

my vortex is listening to Adele, Eminem and The Script, writing dark poems, hanging out with friends, working, and enjoying what God has to offer :)

I love these kind of threads and enjoyed thinking about what my "vortex" is. I hope this thread sees more activity, I would love to read what others have to say.

My Vortex:
- Being outdoors/in nature, whether it be sitting by the fire, going for a walk or other.
- My cat, Bella, and animals in general.
- Yoga, jogging and other physical activities.
- Cooking
- Listening to music.
- Writing
- And of course, spending time with my family and friends. You could say it's the foundation of my vortex.

I know more people really should participate. But its not like I can force them... :(

I would like to add to my vortex. I want to add making new friends, and talking to all friends.

These are some awesome vortexes, but there have to be more out there. Come on people!!! Share with us, I mean there has to be something that makes you happy. No one can be sad ALL the time, and if they can they are a robot, not a human!!

So we all have our own ideas of a vortex, but how many of us can get in that vortex willingly any time that we want? Cause that is a skill that we all need learn, then we will never be able to let the devastation of the world get us down.

My vortex: My boyfriend, listening to music, camping, being in nature, talking to my best frieinds, reading, and writing.

-- Rain on a tin roof.

Why is it other peoples vortex(s) sound more appealing then my own?

^ Its human nature Maddy, we find happiness in attaining not what we desire but in what others desire. It is how humans are, we cannot change it easily.

Hmm. . my vortex.

I sing at times.
Gaming, helps me take my mind off, of the topic.
Listening to music, biggest help.
Chatting at times does the job.
A peaceful walk does help.
Working out, yes it is a huge help.
Reading occasionally does the job.
Watching movies/sitcoms, does the trick.
And hanging out with friends, when time permits.

I agree with Madison (Maddymouse) that other people's vortexes sound so much cooler than my own.

Music is a pretty common in the vortex and it is amazing, so that makes sense in the end. So yay for music.

My vortex is being with you guys (my kids, in direction to Adreamer) and your/my friends. Listening to happy music, watching movies with J.J. and driving just to get away.
