I just wanted to stop in and wish everyone in Canada a Happy Thanksgiving!

Just the word Thanksgiving makes me so hungry!!

Ok, dumb question time. I feel like I asked this last year, but... what is the basis or traditional reason for your Thanksgiving? Is it the same as American, like "hey native Americans, thanks for teaching us about corn so we won't starve" thing? (<--that whole scenario is often debated, but whatever. You know it's what they teach you in elementary school.)

Or is it something different? I know I could totally Google it, but I'd rather hear from a real like Canadian.
