Watch these video clips, from 3 days ago. The first is the best. A spectacle you may never see again! If you ever wished to live in Minnesota, think again :)

The same Glacier tsunami brought on by Hurricane force winds destroyed houses on Lake Dauphin, in nearby Manitoba.

Nature's fury, a spectacle to watch.

I thought I will share this series of pics from Biblical lands from last Wed/Thursday, right in the middle of what is supposed to be a hot dry summer in these parts (Mediterranean!)

Nature is amazing, even in places where one would least expect snow at this time of the year. I hope Ms. Sunshine, Princess, Khalid, Max, Noura, Abed and all others from over there can find a snow sleigh to enjoy the Merry season (change).

    Worth checking pics 1,4,5,8,9,12,14,15...and more.

The first video clip is just WOW! looked like something from a sci-fi movie! The close up shots of all those tiny ice particles moving forward on a mission of destruction was unbelievable. Do you know how long it took to melt? How much damage it caused?...especially to the house it invaded....I'd really love to know...thanks for sharing.

It's unbelievably hot in here, it's reaching up to 44 degrees.

I am sorry to hear that Noura. 111 F is "HOT". Stay safe.
We had similar temps a week ago in Death valley, CA (hottest recorded temp on earth a 100 years ago), where people have been known to take their saucepans and able to fry eggs on them :) Banned in recent years.
CORRECTION: The dates of the photographs published in the Telegraph is not what it seems...really belong to 9th-10th of January 2013, notreally the date mentioned on each of the pages (July 16-17..which is the current date)...got fooled by the way the dates are stamped on the right side of each pic.
Mediterranean is "hot" in summer ...gets even hotter in Aug-Sept, I believe.
