Typhoon

Just saw on the news that the Central Philippines was hit with one of the most powerful storms on record, leaving an estimated 10,000 dead (especially in Tacloban). Such a huge tragedy and so many people affected. It's so weird to think here where I live nothing is wrong, but in other parts of the world this devastation happened and cannot be easily fixed.

I think we have a few members from over there possibly?? Hope you all are okay and sending many prayers/thoughts.

It is very sad to think about. :( thank you for posting this Maryanne. It really is crazy to think about our life and how good we have it in some parts and others are affected so much. Also sending thoughts and love!

Devastating :(

It goes to show how lucky we are, when we have to read/hear about such events. Can't imagine having to be in that situation with that much fear, and then to think about the loss of families etc is just tragic.

After a 7.2 magnitde earthquake, Central Philipppines was hit by a Super Typhoon. It really is saddening as a Filipino. I almost cried while watching the news on TV- seeing that almost everything there was swept away and a lot of lives were lost.
