I fear for the day by Beautiful Tragedy (7 points)

It's so easy to be consumed by fear, but even throughout
all these words there's an undercurrent of hope in this poem
because the poet is still fighting and hasn't given into the fear.
It can be hard finding a reason to just get through the day, but
we still manage. So as heart breaking as this poem is, it gives me
hope because the poet fears those days, they still find some good
in each day, even if it's waning. It's that strength that gets us
    through the bad times.

I fear for the day (by Beautiful Tragedy) (10 points)

I found this poem so be rather moving if rather sad. I know
it is written on a personal level however is all speaks to me
of the larger society we live. How many of us have performed
an act of kindness or trusted someone just to be betrayed. Fantastic
poem and worthy of my top slot. Well done.

The Raven (by Fallen Angel) (4 points)

This was a fantastic poem to read that had some
very clear imagery. I especially like the thought of the
raven perhaps as not a thing of death but a thing of beauty
and hope. A very interesting read.

The raven by the fallen angel (10 points)

Beautifully written, I'm always amazed at what people
attach to ravens in poetry, because of poe, it can be
hard to do, to write something fresh that doesn't feel like
a rehash of that, but this was truly captivating. So rich, so
    poetic, truly well done!

Your Daily Task (by nourayasmine) (7 points)

This is a poem that really touched me as I have friends
who have suffered PTSD for various reasons. This can
manifest in various ways and although this poem describes
some of the awful symptoms I think it finishes on a positive.
    You got this.

    HM:

Off the deep end by Skyfire (4 points)

    COMMENTS:

I relate to this a lot and I'm sure many others can,
depression/struggling with mental health can feel so
debilitating and this is a perfect encapsulation of that. I
hope writing this brought the poet some solace.
