This song (lyric) is one of the most beautiful love poem I have ever heard. Last night I cried and cried. It is in Russian, (( originally Latvian by poet named:: "Leons Briedis" )). I heard the song and was so beautiful to my heart, so, kept on listening without knowing the meaning. After I searched I found the English translation. It was the most stricking beautiful thing. Sooooo poetical. It is a very popular song in eastern Europe I saw a French version of the song, the original Latvianin and one open translation of the lyric put to song in Persian, that was pretty lousy. I am sure in other languages there are more versions.

Here we go, the translation is not that much::
    The name is

    "Milliom, Million of Scarlet Roses"

Once upon a time it was a painter
He had a little house and a canvas
    But he loved an actress
    who loved, loved flowers.

    He then sold his home.
Sold his paintings and his shelter.
And with all the money he bought
    a whole sea of flowers.
A million, million, million of scarlet roses.
From the window you can see
the one, who is madly in love,
transforms his life into flowers for you.

A million, million, million of scarlet roses.
From the window you can see
The one, who is madly in love,
transfers his life into flowers for you
In the morning, you stand at the window
    thinking maybe you've gone insain
or it is a continuation of your dream.

The plaza is full of flowers
    Your soul glaciates:
Is a rich man trying to make fun in here?

But under the window, almost breathless,
    the poor painter stands:

A million, million, million of scarlet roses.
From the window you can see
The one, who is madly in love,
transforms all his life into flowers just for you:

A million, million, million of scarlet roses.
From the windows you can see
The one, who is madly in love,
transforms all his life into flowers for you.

    The encounter was short.
At night, the trains carried her away
    But in her life remained
    the mad song of roses.

    The painter kept living alone.
    Many Troubles he bore.
    But in his life remained
    the whole Plaza of flowers:

A million, million, million of scarlet roses.
From the window you can see
The one, who is madly in love,
transforms all his life into flowers for you:

A million, million, million volume of scarlet roses.
From the windows you can see
The one, who is madly in love,
transforms his life into flowers for you:

A million, million, million of scarlet roses.
From the windows you can see
The one, who is madly in love....
