    Masturbation...
Ok i know this topic has been posted on here before a little while ago...but this aspect of it was never talked about...i dont know what to say when people ask me, so i'm getting more opinions...is it a sin? or what do you think about it?

It's not a sin and you wont grow hair on your palms.

    Dont worry too much.

    *note: haven't read other posts*

    a sin?? a SIN?

ha. Sorry I had to emphasize that.

I am guessing you're a religous person, and I am not so I cannot really say where the foot-hold is on that.
But (being raised catholic, so I don't know what you practice) Most religions do preach that all sexual behavior that is not related to the intention of having children is in fact a sin.
I think that's a bunch of elephant plop.

Masturbation is a part of puberty, every kid studying health knows this. I personally haven't really heard of anyone who has NEVER masturbated in their entire lives, (though I haven't really looked that up so don't take my word on that)

Not to mention it doesn't stop there-you shall indeed find the older gent's pulling it out when they've gone a couple years without getting some
    (and so forth)

As far as I can say, keep it where I can't see it, clean up after yourself, don't invite kids to your slumber parties, and it's fine with me

extreme apologies: usually don't have more than two spelling errors in one day

"Wait one year until you hit puberty. I forgot, that at your age, you don't even have hair on anything else except for your head."

I felt the need to inform you I am laughing my ass off.

lol, this has turned into quite the interesting conversation.

In the next year or so your hornyness will spike- I give you 6 months before you end up masterbating of your own free will and conscious mind.

I feel perverted asking for an update in 6 months time- haha.

yea it has turned interesting...so much for a simple question haha...

    You're annoyingly indiscriminate ;)

It's good to find a happy medium.

well, at least he's honest ;)

Oh, about the hair? The "indiscriminate" has nothing to do with that part, you may want to look the word up.

    The hair: No comment.

my mistake, i saw the word annoying and i was still reading ashley's post and it struck me as amazingly honest for talking to people he doesnt know...

  • Kaitlin Kristina

Very honest, but my experience with Ashley is that he's an open book kinda guy.

"Pink alias is annoyingly prejudice when it comes to age. It's foolish to diregard someone's opinion because of age. And besides he's in my year and i'm pretty damn hairy. I have to shave every day and you'd have to be blind to miss the hair i have downstairs"

    pinkalias is one word
    "diregard"..."disregard"

now that we've gotten that out of the way...
well for one thing, I am not prejudice nor do I disregard younger people's opinions, but considering that I am only 16, anyone considerably that much younger than me most likely doesn't know what they're talking about do they?

And I would advise that if you were to make that comment directing at the hair...thing, that you state it towards JPM, considering I did not make the joke, I was merely laughing at it

and I believe you about the hair. Don't care to know, but I believe you.
    sincerely.

Hmm... i've always thought it was a sin... I tried to find it in the bible (cuz, i have a lot of christian friends and they talk about it being sin and i wanted to see exactly how they phrased it) but I couldn't find it.

You say everybody does it? As in EVERYBODY? That's really... well, believable I guess but, when you actually think of EVERYBODY you've ever met in your life, it makes you feel a little sick. Third grade teacher...*shudders*

But why is it such a taboo subject among people? I mean, practically everyone i know says 'ew, that's sick' whenever the topic is even slightly hinted at. Even when just watching tv and someone makes a joke. Maybe I just hang out with a lot of prudes. LOL. I guess that makes me one too...

I don't believe it's a sin but it's likely frowned upon in most religious figures eyes.

And I like the idea that JPM brought up earlier, "I believe God created masturbation to keep us from sin." -- Very clever and true.

I went to the doctor and told him. 'Doctor, I can't stop masturbating with my friend'. He told me to pull myself together.

  • Anne Conner

Masturbation isn't the sin. The sin comes from the thoughts going through our mind. Lusting after the opposit sex is wrong. (My opinion)
