first of all, it's 100 reasons NOT to believe in him.. and i don't believe in god for alot of reasons. mostly because my dad is a scientist and after discussing it with him i realised his point of view, and i've done research on alot of differant religions and the christian religion seems like a bunch of bs to me. |

Wow..Kati same here! Ok reason one: There is no real proof that he was real, just a book, call the Bible, and anyone could have written that as a book of marals/lessons. |

i dont mean to be rude, but if you said you are strictly athiest and i assume you have your reasons for not believing, but you wouldnt be doing yourself any justice if you didnt come up with those 100 reasons yourself. because if you truly dont believe in god an you have no doubt about that , than those 100 reasons for NOT believing, shouldnt be a challenge to you. |

You say the Bible can't be proven, but then how do you know that history books are true? Perhaps the people who wrote those lied too. We have no past... How do you know history is real? Faith in historians? Faith in God is the same. |

I am pretty sure that several things in the Bible can be disproven... |

I'm not insulted, I just find it interesting that after speaking with her father (who is a scientist), Kati has discredited religion altogether. Now, to me that means she's either completely misinterpreted what her father told her, or her father isn't a very good scientist. |

I know this is an atheist post, which is fine... but Enslavement? Just because you can't see something doesn't mean it isn't there. What about the wind? It's a feeling, it's belief. No one can take a picture of the wind, or God. And yet, we know it is there. Just as wind is air, God is spirit. |

Well, I think comparing the wind to God is a incorrect way of putting it, since the wind can actually be felt by everyone, and it can be proven. It is there, no doubt. |

Because God created the world and expected us not to ruin it, but we did. and we let him down. So he has a place for everyone who has suffered, everyone who has been hurt and who believes in him and worships him. and that place is paradise, and someday all the good in the world will be safe, and THATS the world God can protect from evil. |

Wow....No comment to the "God is Great". Thuis thread was created so that WE could HELP her with this problem, of needing 100 reasons NOT to believe in god. So, instead of convincing her TO believe in god, lets HELP her, if your Christian,or believe in god, your in the wrong thread. |

You know, no one has actually given any substantial reasons NOT to believe in God. Everyone keeps giving these things like murder, rape, tyrants, blah, blah... |
