I am really proud of you. I'm glad you decided to do this for yourself and all future rape victims. And to sound so calm and maybe even happy that you did this makes it so much easier for victims to do it themselves.

I never had that chance to turn my rapist in because it was so long ago and he is long gone. I want you to know that you put a good name to all the rape victims out there by not keeping it to yourself and beating yourself up about it.
