Thanksgiving

In our family it's always the holiday that brings everyone together with no conflicts.

When I was a kid, my parents would pile us into the car on Wednesday night and we would head across the border and 250 miles north to celebrate the Thanksgiving holidays at my aunt's home. The event has steadily grown from about 20 to sometimes 60 relatives and friends. It is still hosted by my aunt who is fortunate enough to have a home large enough to turn it into a makeshift campground for 40-50 guests with sleeping bags.

New Year's. It's a beginning and an end. Rebirth from death. Beautiful, but at the same time, sad. It's also a time with family and loved one's, which makes it that much more special for me.

Halloween: Its the only normal day for me.... :)

Christmas: Its so calm...and happy...no 1 is left behind...

my fav was thanksgiving because everyone came over and there lots of food till about 5 years ago when my grandmother pasted away 2 day after and if i remember right she spent thanks giving in the hospital

I love New Year's...gives me a sense of leaving the past year behind. It's a great feeling. :)

But of course...as the new year goes on, it is bloody and mangled from the events of the past year biting me in the a$$...lmao...
