Perhaps that means there is no adult life...that he dies....which I am extremely anxious to find out..i hope not..but it seems throught the last 2 books, JK doesn't care who she kills off...my 2 favorite characters are being killed off! Harry will be no problem!

i still think that dumbledore told snape to kill him. well, it could go either way i guess. cuz after snape killed dumbledore, snape kept bellowing "dont call me a coward" now, that was either because he had just killed dumbledore when he didnt want to, or it was something from his past like we saw in the fifth book (his father).

it was wierd. i didnt cry when dumbledore died right away. actually, i cried when you found out tonks likes lupin. anyway, i cried when harry said that he was still dumbledore's man through and thruogh after he died.

No. I didn't find out that somone important died till I was half way into the book or so. I was reading something online about the launch and stuff. You should be ashamed Fireflower! :P

i cried my way through the last two chapters i cant believe dumbaldore died it woz so sad an as if we have 2 wait 2years 4 d next 1 i'll be 20!

i dont know why dumbledore froze harry... it was probably so he wouldnt try to fight malfoy and get himself killed... but he had his cloak on so nobody could see him. and harry was running away when dumbledore froze him. and what if someone would have tripped over him whenever he was frozen? that wouldnt have been good....

I think there is more to it than snape just joining back with the death eaters, surely j.k rowling has more imagination than that.. Perhaps dumbledore had asked him to kill him before.. there must be a more intricate reason to him dying, we dont know the reason he trusted snape do we?

I don't think Snape is bad. I personally think the incident where he kills Dumbledore is something he couldn't refuse. I think killing Dumbledore is the thing that Draco had to do as a test. Remember the first chapter? The Unbreakable vow? Where Draco's mom said that if Draco couldn't do it, that Snape would?

I think Snape is still a good guy. In most respects, at least. I've even heard the crazy theory that Dumbledore may not be dead, that he's got a Horcrux. But I don't think he'd do that.

I also think that R.A.B stands for Regulus ? Black. We know he's dead, and we also know that Sirius's brother is indeed, dead.

And I think Harry and Ginny's relationship will end up being a 'Spiderman 2 thing'. Whereas she'll come back to him and tell him she doesn't care how much trouble he'll be putting her in, and then they'll end up together.

And Harry might die. JK won't say.

i dont know about dumbledore coming back though. cuz in the fifth book there were ways for sirius to come back (like that mirror thing) but he didnt.

i found it sad! but i feel that dumbledore had to die...he was like the Mercutio (romeo and juliet) of the harry potter books! it was sad though! but i can't wait to read the next one! so damn worth it! oo and i can't wait till ron and hermoine actualy hook up! that is going to be so funny..and i hope harry gets back with ginny! aww so sad!

JUST totally thought of something!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ok, you know how the horcux (sp?) had that note thing in it? well, dumbledore still had the locket on him when snape killed him. jk never told us exactly how to kill a horcux(sp). my theory is that dumbledore had TWO lockets. the real one, then the one with the note. to keep voldemort from beeing suspicious, dumbledore had snape kill him and destroy the real hourcux(sp) then leave behind the fake one so voldemort wouldnt suspect snape. or maybe dumbledore IS r.a.b. like you know how harrys dads' friends all had little code names like moony and padfoot and so on and so forth? hmmmmmm.... or MAYBE i'm just being stupid and far-fetched.... oh well, we wont know for 2 more years...

Okay, my predictions:

1) R.A.B. stands for Rufius (___) Black, which probably means one of the hocruxes is in the Black family's house, hidden by the house-elf.

2) Snape is really good. Dumbledore was in so much pain that he wanted to die and he didnt want Snape to blow his cover. He probably telepathically told him so. Anyone else thought that Dumbledore pleading was wierd?

3)Harry and/or Hermione and/or Ron is going to die.

4) Neville will be the one to take down Voldamort.

If you think those predictions are unbound to happen, when was the last time Rowling did the obvious in any of her books?

Yeah why was Dumbledore pleading to Snape. And what was he pleading for? Surely not to spare his life, it always seems as though he is scared of nothing.

He was probably already dying, anyway. He was very, very weak. So instead of sparing his life for a few moments and have Snape blow his cover, he just told him to kill him. They're both good at Legilimens, aren't they? They could read eachother's mind. And I think when Snape gave Dumbledore a 'look of hatred', I think it was actually a look of regret as to what he was about to do. I don't think Snape had a choice, though. He HAD to kill Dumbledore.

The Unbreakable Vow, right? Draco's task was to kill Dumbledore, right? Well, Snape promised to do Draco's task if Draco couldn't do it, right? And he sealed that promise. So he wouldn't have been able to go against it even if he wanted to.

Plus, he didn't really attempt to hurt Harry. He just blocked all Harry's spells. Is that what any other deatheater would have done? Left Harry without even a simple spell to hurt him just the teensiest bit? I don't think so.

First of all, I LOVED the book, and yes I did cry, hah even though I was on a plane.lol.

I was watching a doctumenty(sp?) on J.k Rolling, and she said that she allready have the last chapter of the last book finished. So there are no chances that she will die while still writing it. And she was talking about how much Herminoe(sp?) and herself are so alike. They both were smart, and had to be right at everything. And J.K's childhood friend inspired the character Ron. And When they were growing up they actually had a car which resembled the car in the 2nd book!

J.K's mom died at an young age, which has had an impact on her writting style, and how there are so many deaths in her books.

Because. Horcruxes are only used by the 'very power-hungry' wizards like Voldemort. I don't think Dumbledore would do something like that.

I'm pretty sure that when the book mentions Horcuxes and their creation, it says something along the lines of the wizard/person having to tear their soul in two. As Dumbledore is portrayed as a good and honest wizard I don't think his sort of character would want to 'tear' his soul up like that. I don't know the exact words, maybe somebody with the book to hand can find the part I am on about.

He said that in order to have a Horcrux, you have to kill. Everytime you kill for it, a part of your soul gets torn away from you.

I seriously doubt Dumbledore would do that.

[Sorry, I'm pretty sure that's how you get a horcrux, I'm just going by memory.]

That's why Dumbledore doesn't have one, and only the darkest of wizards do. Because murder is the only way to damage the soul enough to split it apart.

B. Maybe, Harry Himself is a Horcrux....they say Voldemort put a bit of himself into Harry....neither can live while the other survives? Hmmmm..

lol, I had trouble witht that one too. I don't want to believe that Snape is, in fact, evil. On the other hand, I can't think of anything that will convince me otherwise. I was so sad when Dumbledore died, but still, I think I felt more upset when Sirius died.
