Its not mean... satire is used to try to change society... when people see the wrongs in society they try a funny way of changing it.. like using satire in cartoons like southpark and moral what ever the name lol... you write poetry and you dont even know that??? *sigh* satire is used in poetry alot... people love to criticize the world in a funny way... satire has been around for many ages it helps people elarn the faults in the world |

Umm its not being pessimistic.. its being a realist there is a huge difference.. instead of seeing life as something bad they are jsut showing the wrongs in it to try to make it a better place... they try to show people like you through humor the wrongs of the world so people likeyou can try to change it |

Umm i do not see grand theft auto doing anything wrong... people were stealing cars way before grandtheft auto... now see your a fine example of the people who look for any excuse why thigns are the way they are.. the reality is we are human humans are the most evil uncivilized creatures on the planet.... its a fact of life.. we kill more of everythign then any group of animals on the planet... the reason we steal cars is not ebcause of a video its because it is jsut how they are.... if a person is goign to steal a car they are going to do it there is no stoping it, the only thing video games could give is new ideas but the eprson was going to steal a car no matter what... good people will do good things while badb people will always do bad things |

^^ Great point Jason. I've been saying that for years but people don't seem to grasp it. People are inately evil. Sure we're all good people but evil doesn't run around in a cape and saying they're your father (Darth Vader for example) but also turn a blind eye to evils of others (like the U.N. not stepping in at Rwanda). Also satires do indeed kick butt. I love it so. :) |
