what i think is that god created the devil. without the creation of the devil, god could not be seen as the greater good, for we would not know the difference between good and evil cause evil would not exist. god had to create evil to be seen as a good entity. the devil must have also been created before eve took the apple, or she would have abided by gods word. therefor, god is the mother and father of the devil.

however, it is also thought that the devil was the first fallen angel. the first angel to go against the holy word of god. if u apply this to eve, she would be the first being to go againts gods word. but it is not said if she is an angel or not.

The Devil has no mother or Father. He was created. Of course, you might be bale to argue that God is the Devil's father, since God is the Father of all creation. However, Satan is still just a creation, and really has no actual father.

    i agree with Lipton.

Surprising as it may seem to some, Satan was not always evil. In the beginning, he was an angel created in perfection and beauty. Angels were given a will with a free moral choice, and "Lucifer" (Satan's name before he was cast out of heaven) chose to do evil and rebelled against God. He was cast out of heaven to the earth because of his sin. His present domain is limited to the earth and hell.

That makes a lot of sense to me! Lipton I like your answer too. Now things are clicking in my head because I learned about all this when I was younger! Thanks so much for the feedback

One: who was trying to imply that god was a hermaphrodite, but dude, whoa.

Two: There's some religion that explains the devil away as being one of god's angels that had been created with just one wing, disturbing his balance of good and evil and being born just pure evil. God then banished him from heaven for dissobeying, leaving him vengeful and taking it anger out on the people of god's earth for favoring them. So technically, Lucafer (aka the devil, aka Big Red), is but a creation of god.

Three: How bored was the person who posted this?!
