there's nothing wrong with it, thats who you are. it might just be nothing though. i thought i was gay at one time... turns out i just didnt find any of the guys i was around interesting enough :) it's not the easiest of lives i dont think, being gay. you'll go through a lot of verbal and possibly physical abuse but that's who you are and the people who really matter in your life will accept and love you no matter what. |

umm katie... i know you probably think we care and everything. and i'm sure some people will be sucked into your attention seeking but this thread is not about you. if you really want to tell people about your life post another thread about cutting so it gets locked like all the others. |

It may take a lot of time for your parents to accept your sexuality...which i think is ridiculous. Love is supposedly unconditional. Your sexuality shouldn't be something that your parents shut you out for because that's something you can't help. |

Hey Michael, one of my best friends came out about 6 months ago to his friends, and about two months ago to his parents. His friends all accepted him for who heis, i've in fact become closer to him now he has come out, and whereas he used to have no male friends, he has countless male friends now. With friends you may lose a few homophobic ones yes, but most will stand by you. With your parents, they may freak at first but they will come to terms with it, it's just a bit of a shock. I havn't looked at your age yet, but im guessing you're in your teens, apparently this is normal for people your age to be experiencing these type of feelings, and don't "come out" so to speak until your ABSOLUTELY sure you are gay. Otherwise it may cause problems. |

No problem :) Just make sure its definate, and dopn't rush into it, take your time. It's the best way to get the best conclusion. |

i dont think you should hide it until you find your "one true one" and then keep it only secret with HIM. that would be denying who you are, and you can only live so long a secret life and denying who you are, before it all catches up with you. be true to who you are. those who dont accept it, were never your REAL friends. and you will make more that more suit your lifestyle. |

The best time would be when you're more comfortable with yourself about it. :) |
