Only Children!!

I'm an only child! And so is my friend Bridget who uses this account too sometimes!

Anyone else here, an only child and can't understand WHY people wish they were too? I wanted a sibling but sadly *sniff* I never got one...

Yup... I'm a drama queen for sure. I should be an actress. Not because I'm talented but because I'm like one big emotional see saw. :) I can sing and draw and paint and write stories (poems on the other hand... LOL), I guess those are "talents". I'd rather have someone help me look after my parents when they're old though.

HEY!!!! HAVING A TWIN IS NOOOOOT easy. Trust me. I would trade with you anyday. I've got like...5 brothers and sisters and wow........

It's really hard....people assume you're just like the next one. I hate it.

Besides...we're too poor that we can't buy all the really cool things like cell phones, I-pods, real computers...ANYTHING because we have to afford putting food on the table and making things fair for christmas and all that junk...

Not saying that I'm a materialistic person, but hey, gotta think about the goodies....

Well, you can have all my material things. I just want to know there's someone in this world who'll look out for me and love me no matter what.

I'd give my cellphone, my ipod, my computer, my tv for a sibling... if I had a twin, i'd be even happier.

LOL. If my parents let me, I'll take him! Then you can have my cellphone, my ipod, my laptop...hell, take my whole room.

Besides, I have four brothers and they have made my life a living hell for almost sixteen years now. They have never said a kind word or been decent to me in any way EVER, instead doing everything possible to make me feel worthless and insecure... so I think it'd be better to be an only child than to have siblings like mine who've made me honestly wish I had never been born. Or at least it'd be better to have a sister or two instead... lol.

I study german, then I quit.. so I dont, I am an only child and I dont really want a sibling, although it would be nice sometimes..

lol-be careful what you wish for Jackie...your mom might just come up to you one day when you least expect it and say, "Hunni....i'm pregnant." and you'll be like, "Ewww....moooom.....you had SEX? With who? Dad? Ewwww...." Cuz that's the first thing I realized...lol..and then..9 months later..you'll find yourself in a house of hell, chaos, torture....oh joy, eh? lol!!

Haha, closing blue eyes... you're right. My mum got pregnant when I was 12 and I was so disgusted when I first heard.

Then, she had a miscarriage. I just cried and cried for days... now i'm on only...

i am one of 4 and i sometimes wish i was an only child, because my parents never seem to have time for me, but i love my siblings to bits.

I have 4 sisters.... meh i love em all but i wish sometimes i could have a little space or freedom...

i only have a sister but i kind of am an only child. shes 20, moved out of the house, and pretty much never comes over to see us. i wish i could have a lil bro or sis. i would love it. most ppl tell me that i wouldnt but i really do!!! but it wont happen EVER!!!! cuz my mom is toooo old to have babies. yall no wut i mean. but still it makes me sad sumtimes so i kinda do take it as if im an only child.

So yah see???? We're the ones who admire you....the only child....we're just one of many. I hate it so much.....

Btw...my mom is leaving my stepdad and so literally now, I'm the only thing raising this baby....I'm 14 and I am practically it's mothing now that my parents are getting a divorce...i will be the one to wake him up, cloth him, send him off to preschool, feed him, change his diapers, play with him, put him to sleep, help him when he's sick and I have my own life to attend to thank you very much...i didn't ASK to be signed onto this job....it just kinda sorta happened and now I have 2 lives to be responsible for and I never even had sex....so be thankful, dear, and be careful what you wish for.

Brothers and sisters seem to go there seperate ways when they grow up. Its sad...I remember my older brothers and I used to be very close but when they moved out all that changed. I barely know them anymore. Still I'm thankful for all the times we did share. I don't know how it feels to be an only child but I know if I was one god forbid, I would probably go crazy. Their's nothing like a messy, noisy house full of arguing siblings.
