pshhh o please make up is like god lol there would be a lot of ugllllly people if it wasn't for makeup....you can never have enough mascara lol nikki what are you talking about? and liquid eyeliner is difficult to apply as well as if you get wet AT ALL it will make ya pretty darn scary looking use the roll on kind as an all purpose tool....eyeliner=lip liner...eyeliner is great

no it isn't thats dumb.....I think make up is like an art...kinda like if you took a boring poem and spiced it up by using a better vocab it can be magic with a poem....take an ugly chick throw some make up on her and you have a prettier looking person.......i think its a complicated subject and everyone will have unchangable points so agree to disagree shall we?

Make-up is a scary thought for me. The only thing I ever wore before are my lip balm and occassionally maybe lip gloss.

I honestly think natural beauty beats all that shark oil products. (I think it's shark oil, or was it shark vomit?) Anywho, no tips from me. The last time my friend tried to put that mascara (sp?) she poked my eyes and I still have nightmares about it.

Personally, I love make up. I put it on at home when I'm bored and feel like giving myself a makeover.

Weird thing is, when I actually do go out (to school, mall, dates, whatever) I can NEVER be bothered to put any on. I just grab my chapstick and sunscreen and I'm out the door. LOL. I'm weird I guess. Recreational beauty freak I guess.

I don't see why wearing makeup is such a big deal...
I wear mascara and eyeliner every day, even to school, and people KNOW me for it. They say it compliments my personality and my eye colour, giving me vivid eyes. And hey, I wear it to enhance my personality, too, even wearing a bit of eyeliner can make me FEEL more confident, even if someone else doesn't notice.

I believe, sure, someone can over do make-up. But what's the harm of making yourself a bit unique, or just trying to be more confortable with yourself? Today's society is VERY image-based, regardless of what we want it to be like.

i dont think people wear make up 2 look good, or to impress other people. you wear it to feel good about yourself and just know that within yourself you look good. it makes you feel more secure if you think you look good!

I like make up, but not to much, i basically wear eyeliner and shadow(the occasional cover up) i like BRIGHT colors on my eyes ex. hot pink, lime green, or darker colors ex..sliver liner with black shadow on top,l dark purple and blue...it depends how i feel...i tend to mix emotions and make up...but i dont care what others think of me...just a way to express me to the world!

"too late to heal...."- too late to heal, because one wore a bit of makeup? A bit meladromatic, don't you think? My mother still wears make up, she seems fine with it, she doesn't regret or condemn it at all. Furthermore, I don't believe that when I'm 40 I will regret wearing a bit of mascara and eyeliner at a young age.

It's only makeup, like adding a necklace- if you like it, then where it. As simple as that, anything in moderation can be good.

And, like someone else stated, if you're a male, it's different, you've been brought up to believe make-up is for girls, not guys. So, you've never actually wanted to wear it.

Oh, I understand why people say natural is better, because yes, being happy with a 'natural' look is a good thing. But hey, it's not a big deal- in the end, it's only makeup, and someone's personality doesn't alter by wearing makeup.

I respect other's opinions, but am now just giving my own...

Make up is better then them being plastic...so I can live with that.
I still think just being you is better. But then if being you is wearing make up; all the power to you.
