The dots in lyrics are usually a slight pause in the singing or whispering...or a dragged on note. I use it alot in my lyrics.

How about we don't lock this by going off subject... What does a song say in a certain verse or something like that...
Not the whole song cuz we'll get into trouble for plagarism...
    or just go to www.lyrics.com

well most songs don't have to have the same thing going in there verse like mm take

Alkaline Trio - Enjoy Your Day

the beginning is telling where did she go things like that..then after the chorus it says something about V-day and giving the girl roses. So it can be a twisted song but a really awesome song though. Listen to it sometime. But songs are different like that and it's very talented. I hope that's what you wanted and if not WTF are you talking about?? lol.

So you just want to know what an authors lyrics mean? Well baisically, you have to read them and sometimes pick at them line for line, looking up words you don't know. Remember some people use imagery too. I don't know what else to say...
