MSN rumour?

I had an e-mail off my friend the other day that if you dont send a specific email to 18 contacts then from nov 1st or 2nd you'll be charged to use msn.

anyone else heard this?

Don't Believe It....I've Heard a Rumor That Msn Was Closing Down Messenger...And Then Only Way We Could Protest Them To Stop Is To Get Online And Set Our Messenger Status To Busy.....Out Of 185 People On My List....I Was The Only One Doing It....I Felt Like a Jackass lol xoxo-Nikki-xoxo

what i dont get aboot these is...... surely if they were officially closing down msn... or charging........... the info would be sent in an official email from hotmail themselves not some B.S copy and paste blocks of text!
