when you wright poems everyone! Please use normal english like you instead of u, love instead ov luv and so on..

What the heck is web-talk?

Its like:

yes but its a lot easier to read the poem when you wright normal

that's where editing comes in handy. You don't have to do everything properly the first time, but by all means, go back and proofread it.

I proof my stuff at least 3 times:
1. let someone else read it
2. read it outloud (especially for rhythm)
3. read it from end to beginning (makes you see each word as an individual - in order to catch more typos)

Si cada quien va a escribir en su idioma, yo lo voy a hacer tambien. Siento que no haya acentos, pero asi son los teclados en el Reino Unido. En fin, yo creo que escribir abreviaciones computacionales no es benefico en obras literarias por obvias razones, pero esa es solo mi opinion...

Oh and I agree Morgan about the "wanna". It may be incorrect English but who cares? I mean most music songs aren't gramically correct so why does poetry have to be? IE: School of Rock "Rock got no reason, Rock got no rhyme." lol. That isn't exactly correct english but it sounds better.

hey...ders nothing wrong with writing in slang...if u dont enjoy it dont read it..but den the other person should write it atleast a bit normally so evryone can get the gist of it...

But it looks like you need to be more careful when you type...

I only get annoyed with internet slang if people are only writing their whole poem in slang, it gets hard to read.

But yeah, poems are there just to express their own feelings and themselves.

for someone who doesnt like it when people dont write things correctly you sure use wright alot. were not talking about the invention of the plane here.

Seeing as we have reduced ourselves to this level...it's we're, not were. I agree, anyway. It's annoying when people switch from normal to slang - isn't there like a whole section for slang poetry anyway? I know each to his own or whatever but it really puts me off reviewing when the person switches between what type of english they are using - half the time it doesn't even sound good in the poem. But yeah. Just my opinion.

Web talk is annoying, but you can't force someone to change their style of writing. It's their choice to write poetry how they want to, but everyone has their own opinon. I, myself find it weird and hard to understand, but maybe they think different.

i dont think it matters... let people type/talk they way they want to. dont get all bitchy if you have a slower time reading this 'web-talk' then others.
