Hey how you all doing?

Since i had a horrible day today, i was hoping some good inspirational poetry would make me feel better so...

Rules
1.One poem per author
2.own poems please
3. No limit on length but please don't post a poem that is SOOOO long because then i probably won't read it, so say about 50 lines

Blessed is...

Blessed is the heart, not afraid to love deeply.
Pure is the soul that lives life sweetly.
Seeing the world through rose coloured glasses,
Cherishing seconds, as each minute passes.

Content is thee, who in dark remainds bright.
Good will to he, who in fog still has sight.
Intelligents will come after mistakes have been made,
Learning from doing, making wrong's fade.

Strength is awarded when suffering bared,
A hand held protected, when compassion shared.
Never taking for granted, leaves one thankful.
Holding close to their heart, everything they are greatful.

People are heard, when to others they listen.
Respect is gained, when respect is risen.
Loud is the voice, that sometimes speaks weakly.
Blessed is the heart, not afraid to love deeply.

Broken wings of destruction

Broken wings that hang wet from the rain
A beautiful angel weeping in the muddy ground
Crying in her hands from all of the pain
But gives off a glow that lights everything around

Trying to help the world from its hatred and pain
when she went to earth the people did not want her there
They attacked she escaped for she was to be slain
All she wanted was to help all she did was really care

But the world was so full of darkness and crime
That no help from an angel could even bring the good out
Not even a child of heaven so beautifully sublime
These people of this world no longer knew what love was about

Suddenly a voice called out to the angel "come its to late"
She looks up at the sky with her pretty, tear stained face
"what then"she asks the voice "what then will be there fate?"
"destruction"the voice replies" thats the fate of the human race"....

(an angel comes to earth to repair the things we have done and what did we do we didnt want it
so in other words this poem is the meaning of life and everything we have done to it wars crime etc.)

Kiss The Stars

Don't be discouraged by what people say
Don't let words like that drive you away

Don't cry because you think nothing will help
Don't give up on your dreams cause you don't believe in yourself

When you want to feel better,yet you feel your dreams are destroyed....
Remember what I told you

Kiss the stars
No matter how far
They will always be there
No matter where you are

Feel the moon
Beneath your feet
Taste the air
Its always sweet

Smile when you're crying
Not when you're alone
Just pretend
You never left home

Become what you want
If thats what you wish
Don't fall down
When you feel your heart lift

Don't pretend to be someone you don't want to be
Don't forget how to be a person like me
To be like me you have to kiss the stars
You'll always be near them no matter how far

You don't die at funerals,you just move on
You realize the people you love are too almost gone
You are born again at gods will
Never broken or bent or killed by a thrill

Don't be who everyone wants you to be
Be what god made you (THE BEST YOU CAN BE)

Inspiration often comes in the smallest things
But exactly one of these stars helped me earn my wings

Don't fall down when you try to get up
Just smile and do all this kind stuff
You can be depressed,or optimistic-
It doesn't matter as long as you get with it.

Be happy with who you are
And after you read this start kissing the stars
Maybe you to will get a gift of wings
Exactly given by these heavenly things

Close your eyes,hear the wind
It has my voice surrounded
You'll never lose hope in the things you will leave
But remember thats what you wanted

We all have a little insecurity,
Something that we do not like
But know you were made special
And we're not all alike

We were all made unique
So we shouldn't live in fear
Of what other people think
And everything you hear

Not everyone's judgments
Are always precise
You have a choice
To listen to their advice

It doesn't mean to change yourself
Because the way you are is fine
When you show your true colours
That is when you truly shine

It doesn't matter what you look like
Or what people think and say
Acting like yourself
Will make it a better day

You don't have to pretend
Or be fake, at all
You should be someone you're proud of
And be able to stand tall

No need for to cover up
To hide your minor flaws
Your inner beauty will shine through
And it will show all and all.

It's your qualities that truly count
Your talents and personality
It's your actions and words
And your originality

People who are your friends
Should like you for who you are
You shouldn't have to be like them
Just to be a star

So be who you are
And don't tell lies
To be comfortable with yourself
You can't wear a disguise

In the end it doesn't matter
So be comfortable in you own skin
They're not all judging you so,
Always remember beauty lies within.

You left me and i dont know why.
You never explained why you left me.
And every night i began to cry,
and i lost everything i could ever see.

You were my friend,
and I miss you every day.
I thought you'd be here till the end,
and be my friend in every way.

There isnt a day that goes by,
when i realise that you made me smile.
And you said you'd be here until i die,
and now you were here for a little while.

What happened to us,
What did we do wrong.
I know i'm making such as fuss,
but i think of you all day long.

I want you hear to look out for me.
Hold me close when i am sad.
The pain i feel is all you see,
and i bet you are very glad.

You hurt me once and dont do it again,
i'm sorry for being your friend,
i have to get rid of all this pain,
and help my heart to mend
