A Prayer

It could be screaming at God for something that pissed you off, or it could be thanking Him for something, or it could be asking for something, or... WHATEVER!!!!! Desperate Cries For Love

Promise me nothing short of a miracle.
I don't need anything more than that.
One unanswered prayer from long ago.
Something I thought I needed to survive.
Bring me some faith when I need it the most.

Promise me nothing short of true love.
Someone who could satisfy my thirst for life.
Who could understand the trouble I had been brewing.
Who could find even the smallest ounce of longing
buried deep inside of my aching heart.

Promise me nothing short of inspiration
at the moment when I wonder who I am.
When words might one day fail even me.
When I might find it hard to speak my hurt.
Bring me these things, Lord, when I need them most.

Promise me nothing short of a miracle.
I don't need anything more than that.
One unanswered prayer from long ago.
Even if I had not been the one asking.
Let me be somebody's chance for a miracle.

What will come next?

A good Catholic girl
saying prayers since she was 3
Finally blocks out everything
but piercing profanity

Always asked God the
right thing to so
nothing she asked was answered
So a few words were threw

The people that meant
the most to her have
finally been blown away
She doesnt hear anything but

"Get the hell away"

So for that she gets upset
Although she knows
she is as strong as a rock
But at times that rock is in shock

The next day she is fine
says sorry to God
says sorry to her friends
For that night she had lost her mind

She worries still of the next day
She worries in the back of her head
What is God
Going to bring to her next?

I prayed

We prayed to god to let you stay
As each day we watched you ask
Him to take you away

We stayed with you night and day as you laid in bed
We never would eat or get any sleep
Dreading that when we woke up you’d be dead

Family and friends came in and out all day
They watched you suffer and they cried
Because, I love you all, is all you’d say

I fed you your food but you still got small
I cried when I saw them give you, your shots
I got mad when the doctor didn’t come when we would call

When we thought you could come home cause you got a little better
We pack your things but then the doctor would come in and say we cant let her

Then one day as I was sitting in the hospital room
They told us they would have to move you to a different hospital
We knew then that we would lose you soon

A couple of weeks later you died in your sleep
All of us got together in your house
And talked about all the good times as we cried and weep

I think of you everyday with these tears that i've cried
My heart has been broken ever since the day that you died……

THE LAST PRAYER

Dear god, look at me now
For I’ve felt too much pain today
Four dreary hours ive lay awake
Midnight on, now it’s almost day

But eluded sleep is too small a cause
For me to cry so much and pray
And on bended knees and folded hands
I ask you to take this pain away

Today the moon is full my lord
I saw it rise until it set
And every moment of the night
Her memory was all I met

It’s just so painful for me
To go on with life this way
It’s so awful to miss someone
When she’s around you for half the day

Waiting for her emails, when
When I could walk right to her and talk
Makes me want to cry so much
As this endless pain continues to stalk

Your glory is invincible, ive heard
So why can’t you make this pain go away?
Why can’t you make me forget her?
Oh please let a miracle, come my way

A million unanswered prayers
Where has your glory disappeared?
My eyes are red the sun shines now
Day has broken, but the angst’s still near

This torture’s too much for me to take
My prayers never seem to reach heaven
It seems that earths too far a place
So I think I’ll die, and see you up there…Amen.

I wrote this one at a time when I really really needed someone to guide me through. I learnt that God DOES answer prayers. He helped me...gave me better friends...made my life easier.

We can believe everything is just another "co-incidence", but we cannot see that they are miracles, unless we believe, in HIM. Now , I do.

A prayer to God

I pray to you god for it is my mum and boyfriend you have taken.

I pray to you god when I go to sleep tonight I
do not awaken.

Please let me go to sleep as I can't for these painful tears I weep.

My prayers you have not yet giving, without them god my life is not worth living.

Take me to them please, I have no fear of dying
these words I say believe me im not lying.

I will go for now, in hope I will get to sleep.

In hope not to be kept up with these painful tears I
weep.

I will go for now, and dream of what you have
taken.

In hope that tomorrow I will not awaken.

MY UNBEATABLE FAITH...

As i find myself surrounded by troubles,
happiness doesn't seems to be more than bubbles,
I close my eyes and call my God- by heart,
HE appears in front of me as soon as i start.

When i do not find any shoulder to cry upon,
I join my hands and kneel down in front of -
the only listener of my grief,
in front of whom i can regret, i can weep.

Every drop of my tears rolling down my cheek,
cries and shouts for the help and ease,
Again i close my eyes and recall HIM,
to forgive my mistakes and forgive my sins.

I own unbeatable faith and trust in my almighty god,
i have the unchallenged confidence and belief in my lord,
I know HE is standing right next to me,
whether i m able to see or not able to see.

The presence of God is a thing to feel,
all sorrows, all wounds HE can heal,
no tangible structure it occupies,
but its just the faith and in our heart HE lies.

If u believe HIM, HE runs down your veins,
if u dont, HE is the only cause for your pains,
remembering him in grief is what we all do,
but recalling him in joys too is what HE expects us to do.

I prayed to God
And made a wish
I hoped it would come true
I wished to be a bird

If I were a bird
I could escape my anger and sorrow
My hopes and my pains

If I were a bird
I could leave this life far behind me
Never look back and be happy

My fears couldn't catch me

I hoped god would grant my wish
I hoped that he would help me
When I asked him, he never answered
But I knew that he heard me

One day as I was walking past a bridge
I found my self looking over it
At the water far below

I got up on the railing
And made my wish again
While spreading my arms out wide

I hoped god would answer
I hoped he would grant my wish
And then I jumped

For I moment I was flying
I thought that it had worked
But then I was going down

The water was rushing closer
Fear grabbed my chest
And a tear rolled down my cheek

As I hit the water I prayed
Then there was darkness
And I was in front of God

Why didn't you help me? I screamed
He turned away and whispered
I can't do everything

A Prayer

Kissing dust in front of a cross
flying hands while knees embracing ground
just a thought that came across
if my tears could reach his ears as sound

with sealed quaking lips of mine
and blood around my hands
even a blind knows, i have been cryin
wonder someday you too understand

its not me i am asking for
as i have left that hope far too back
just a girl living next door
if you could bring her life back in track

if you could give her smiles which you kept for me
if you could spread roses on her path of misery
and just let the thorns be my reward for honesty
capture me forever and let that evil soul set her free

i swear i would not mind to sleep in flames
as it just doesn't matter how deep you are falling
when you are staring above
who cares about me and my brutal world
when its only about the one you love

this life i lead carries nothing anymore
as i know the fact that i cant be with her
so please bless the one living next door
as this life of mine drifts a step further
