Why do my poems suck?

Okay, honestly I thought I was a good poet, but aparently I am not, so will someone please explain to me what is so bad about my poems/what needed to be imporved? I want to be a good poet, and if I am not, I want to learn how. Are my messages unclear, or too cliche to read? Are my thoughts out of order and hard to follow? Is my grammar and spelling a key factor in being voted down? I really need to know these things.
