Stay in school. It is so difficult to make your way in life without formal qualifications of some kind, believe me; I failed the majority of my exams so know how hard it is without any. |

Stacey, Honestly, Even though school gets hard. Don't drop out. I gave up on school, And now look at me. I'm a 17 year old girl, Who knows nothing. I have no job. I'm never gonna be able to get a decent one. My life is basically screwed. So please don't leave school. Trust me. It's not worth it. |

i know it giving up is extremely easy i've done it most of my life, but school is just one of those things you can't run from your going to need it in the near future i'm in 10th grade and the youngest girl in my class. I hate being at school. But i have good reason's i'm treated different becuase of my last name and becuase i'm not like most people. But don't give up look for an alternative school. Next year i well be finishing up my junior year and senior year threw virtual school. You get a normal high school diploma and all ecxept for you don't have to go to school everything is online right there. Its great and easy and opens you up to alot of new things in life. Next year i well graduate a year ahead becuase with virtual school you can advance and graduate earlier. So give it some thought but don't give up. I'm always here if you want more info or just some one to talk to |

I dropped out of school in Grade 11. I dropped out because of those reasons. I was having trouble because things were going on in my life that really hurt me. I am overall happy with my discussion to drop out because school just depressed me. So, it was a good discussion in my case. I started to do independent studies, which you basically get to do work on your time, when you want. I find it great cause I can get a job, work it around my schedule. But there is a hidden thing to it, this takes much longer. This year should of been my last year in school, but cause of this work, I shouldn't been done for another 1 and 1/2. You can only do one course at a time, which takes minimum for me 1 to 2 months. Really this isn't a big deal to me, because school is just school, yeah you need it to get a good job, and good pay, but I'd rather me poor and do things my way. Good Luck. Both discussions have their pros and cons, just what one would be better for YOU! |

lmfao! That has got to be the funniest thing i've heard. What do you think that no one else is stressed out by school? Your only 14, your not even in high school yet are you? Wait until your in a higher grade, it'll get even more harder. |

Yes, providing you don't die, or become mentally ill, else disabled. Hmm. School is important - I find it hard, and the expectations at my school are high (I got to a grammar school). I'm not the most clever person, but neither am I the least - and I doubt you are either. Keep at it hun xXx |

I advise you to pull through in school. Many things in life may seem hard, but we all have to learn to face our obstacles and try to get through them. I mean...If everyone always gave up in this world, where would we be right now? Just imagine it...all the technology, and basically everything we have was invented after many attempts in failure. Failure. It seems like a scary word, but in fact it has many good sides to it. Failing can lead you to know that you must try harder and to think you can do better. Quitting is where the cowardly side comes in. Don't quit school. You are 14, yeah. Don't you have dreams? Please tell me you do because I know no one wants to throw their lives away when there is so much to accomplish these days. There are so many goals you can fulfill, so why quit school at such a young age. Set your mind to something, trust me; it is for your own good. In years to come, no one will be able to get anywhere in life without an education. Even now precisely, jobs are needed. It is very hard to live life these days, and those without education or prior knowledge are at a loss of things. I mean also, how are you going to live...socially, economically?...how is that possible. You can't live thinking maybe your parents will provide for you, or your boyfriend/husband in the near future. In this world, everyone needs to be independent. Leaning on someone does not get you anywhere, and respectively, leaning on nothing gets you nowhere also. Think about it. Stay in school. |
