Lucid dreaming

For anybody that does not know a lucid dream is when you are aware of the fact that you are dreaming while still having the dream. However, just because you are having a lucid dream does not mean you are able to control it, yet sometimes you can. I have lucid dreams all the time and when i become aware i am having one I am able to ocntrol myself and so as I please. Apparently this is a hard thing to accomplish however I have been able to do it for as long as I can remember. Just wondering If any of you expierence the same sort fo thing and whether you are able to control your dreams. I find it facinating.

I did that once. It was reaaaaally annoying though. I fell asleep and in that dream, I KNEW that I was dreaming and i was SOOOO BORED...that i just sat down and told myself to wake up but I couldn't. So I basically waited every hour that i was asleep in that dream. It was the most boring 8+ hours of my life. Gahh. i didn't find it at all fascinating, rather aggravating.

I have those- all the time- and I know some how I'm in control because of the outcome- the dreams are always scenarios you wish upon- and its cool the best dreams in my opinion

~ yep...I have those all the time. I didn't know there was a name for it though... They always turn out well for me, but I hate it when I know that I had a good dream, but I can't remember what it was about...

I love them. I cant change the scenery around me but i can do whatever I want. I like to jump of buildings, run around and do things i couldnt do in real life. Its awesome!

A couple of times, but it doesn't feel much different from real life, as I can never seem to do anything extraordinary.

If you have difficulty controlling lucid dreams, then put your hands up in front of your face, this way you can take over any aspects of the dream and change what's going on...

    happy dreams...

I have difficulty controlling lucid dreams. I find it that I'm in between dreaming, and lucid dreaming. I know I'm in a dream, but bad things are happening around me. I have no way to control it. But usually when I have difficulty controling my lucid dream, I am able to wake up any second I want.

Though I have been able, a couple of times, it comes rare to me.

There is this other thing, that reminded me when I read this. Its when you are aware of your surroundings, as of in your bed at that moment, either in a dream or really with your eyes open, but you can't move. Your still. And you cannot will yourself to move. Yet you fight and struggle, and sometimes you'll escape some movements, and then gain controll over your body, and then 'wake up'. Sometimes, you might not gain control all together. But I read that when this happens it is your Soul trying to re-enter your body. Though I didn't really get why it was trying to re-enter your body, rather than leaving the body... but I found it interesting.

I only catch my dreams when they arn't realistic. Most of my dreams are boringly realistic. But every once in a while I have a really wierd one (i.e. Hugh Laurie is giving me an imp with antlers for a birthday presant) And those I know are dreams and I can always control those. And my friend is the exact oppisite, she can only recognize the normal ones.
