World Cup, Germany 2006

Hmm, anyways I was just wondering who you guys want to win. Tell me why you want them to win.

I personally hope Germany wins. Germany has a great team and they have done more than most people thought they could do.

I couldn't give a toss now England are out. Portugal ought to be ashamed of itself.

Italy. I have to go with Italy. Now that the U.S is out, not that that should come as any surprise to anybody, I am routing for Italy because I am mostly italian.

^ Well I don't know how that was supposed to come accross, but it really annoys me when I hear things like that.

On saturday evening I was walking with my family at about 7ish I guess, and we walked past a pub. The match had ended (england lost) and there were loads of drunk people outside obviously annoyed. One of them threw a glass bottle which shattered on the ground at a guy walking past and started yelling loads of abuse at him (somehow it seemed it was his fault England lost the match) and in the end we called the police as the fighting was so out of hand.

I find it so unbelievable how nasty people can get over a game of football? I support my country, and maybe it's just me but I think people take it waay to far sometimes

Mel, I'm all for campaigning to get FIFA to back up their Fair Play Code and start punishing diving, play acting and feigning facial injury.

If you're with me I'll draft a petition.

I already sent a copy of the FIFA Fair Play Code to the FPF (Portuguese FA) but it's not just them there is a diver, faker and cheat in every team. It's time to make Footy the beautiful game again.

The game is being ruined by a bunch of prima donnas who actually orchestrate this type of play. I can't wait to see them play the French. Mark my words the referee will be, for some reason, a little less tolerant of the 'diving' during this match me thinks.

It's so saddening that Germany lost. Both teams played really well.

I've got to say i'm now rooting for Italy. Why? Because they've got mad skill and game. France and Port. in my opinion are toast. Or at least I hope. Well the game between France and Port. is today. Woot, can't wait!

Yeah, news is the Portuguese are at the swimming pool just prior to thier big game: pracitising their diving!!!!!!!!!

ahaha, serisouly? Well we'll see how well their 'driving' is during the game. Jeez haha.

Personally I want France to win. It would definately be an interesting game to watch: Italy vs. France.

France vs. Port. game starts in less than an hour I think. Ye ye!
