France didn't deserve to win because they failed to take their chances, the exact same thing could be said of Italy, but even though penalties are a lottery I am glad Italy won because they are a better side when it comes to technical skill and tactics.

but i'm also a fan of Zidane , i hope he does continue his career, this is no way for such a soccer legend to end his career
but of course, it's not the first time that he got a red card, he can be a quite hard player, and Materazzi has a history in red cards and provocation as well ,
it's an unfortunate incident that now seems to be more important than the sport itself
