I don't know .. 6 planes is a lot, which is about 3000 people definately killed, and then there is the destruction afterwards on British cities of the debris/plane petrol etc falling down onto them ... I believe it could have been. Or could this be a hoax, giving people a distraction to carry out terrorist acts elsewhere?

Terror Plot: How Long Before It Turns Into BS Like Every Other Example?

    Prison Planet | August 10 2006

Government enforcers and frightened slaves are all hot and bothered about the latest supposed terror plot targeting UK flights inbound to the US. How long before the whole saga turns out to be hoaxed BS like EVERY SINGLE OTHER major terror alert there has been?

Ridiculous restrictions have been slapped on travelers, with mother's having to taste baby milk before they board planes and all hand luggage, including liquid drinks, being banned.

The new alert arrives with the 9/11 truth movement on the cusp of a wave of media exposure.

Evidence of government sponsored terror and how they use the fear of terror to control society is bursting out at the seams as editorials nationwide in the US are uniform in attempting to debunk research that questions the official version of 9/11.

Statistical analysis has proven that every time Blair and Bush sag in approval ratings, a fresh terror alert gives them a bounce back up the charts.

Every single major terror alert issued by either the US, Canadian or UK governments has proven to be either a manufactured facade, an entrapment sting or an outright hoax.

Recently, a supposed plan to hijack planes and fly them into London landmarks was exposed as a concoction of UK government lobbyists and news chiefs.

The July 2005 London bombings were a British intelligence operation. The alleged ringleader, Mohammed Siddique Khan, was working for MI5.

Here is a compendium list of other reports where the role of governments and security agencies in manufacturing artificial terror plots is exposed - within these stories are links to even more.

It's nicely convenient that every terrorist action thwarted is a government concoction until one happens. Then they are 'exposed' and 'revealed by a secret insider' as a government concoction.

Reminds me of the Salem Witch Trials.

Chris hit it on the head.

I was sitting in a pub with my brother about 2 hours ago watching the "news" reports, and it's all such over the top crap. I mean the british Tv press isn't quite as blunt in it's fear mongering as say, Fox news, but it's not far off.

What was amusing to me, is that almost everyone in the pub, which is a common as they come working mans establishment, was mocking the reports. People are sick of this, I think the Bush administration really overplayed their hand with the way they handled the news and press conferences after 9/11, and it has fundementally changed the way we react to such stories.

In short, they lied, distorted and covered up so much, that even regular politcally passive people have started to smell the BS, and thanks to people like Micheal Moore [even though he's a bit edit happy] and other intrepid documentary makers, people are learning to not believe what they see on the news.

It bodes well for the future, and i hope for the elections in Both britain and America.

You really think a change at the head of either government will make any difference?

Well, I can think of one difference actually, we'll have someone new to blame.

Yup, I agree. This was a set-up and a scandal. In my words, it's all 'balony' to get Bush's ratings up. He's getting some real bad criticism nowadays and he needs something to boost his ego along with support.

Marissa, a group of terrorists were going to target 9 planes and blow them up mid air over US and UK cities. They were going to use liquid explosives, detonated by either a mobile phone, an mp3 player or a heat pad (or something) in a car key.
The police were tipped off by muslims in Pakistan, so that they invaded the houses and foiled the plan.
21 people were arrested, which included a pregnant woman, and, apparently, a 6 month old child who was going to have explosives strapped to them.

But is this simply a diversion whilst they go and do something else? after all, there are 8-10 people still missing that the police havn't arrested.

I can't believe people are actually complaining about the restrictions. Wouldn't you rather know that they are being careful, than fearing you could be blown up in mid flight?

Yeah... safe is nice... but I honestly believe its scare tactics... this administration wants us to live in fear... somethings aren't called for... I love the new systems and most of the safety requirements...but sometimes you have to admitt they go a bit too far...once you pass the first thousand doses of security you should be ok...

I think that if the government put more money into homeland security instead of funding for wars that things like this wouldn't happen. And I doubt Bush can do anything right now to increase his rating, he's done too many things people disaprove of to get it too much higher.

Don't believe the hype... whilst our special forces may well have uncovered a 'plot' to hijack several planes... we are not under the biggest terrorist threat since 911... we are at war! Plain and simple fact!
Propaganda is what you read in papers and what you see on tv... 'drug of the nation - breeding ignorance and feeding radiation' (Michael Franti - Beatnigs).
