A german asks for help

Hi all!

I am a german guy and i need help of an american girl.
My problem is the following:

I fell in love to a girl from USA and i am confused about the pet name this girl gives me. She said about my picture that she would like it a lot but i shouldnt take away my moustache because i would look 'boyish'. I am some years over 30y old but i have to admit that people guess me around 25y.

This girl which i am calling since about 4 weeks gives me pet names that german girls wouldnt give a guy.
She calls me 'baby' and 'babe' and once she wrote that i would be her 'big_german_baby'.

What shall i think how she thinks of me? Can anyone understand that i am not secure that she calls me 'baby'?

Aw! That is nice. It means she likes you. It's what we call our boy friends or girlfriends. Baby, like um Hunny, or sweet heart. You know what I mean. Like, Hey babe how are you? Or.... your great baby! It's a good thing! :+) Good luck with your relationship!

Yeah i am happy to know her. She causes so many soft and romantic feelings in me. Believe it or not but i bought old fashioned quills (nibs?) and tint to write her love letters on special paper. Right now i am exercising to get back a really nice handwriting for her... :)
Cant await that i can write good enough to surprise her with a letter.

Sorry when i blabber so much but i miss her and dont know where to go with my too much feelings...

Thanks Ash. I know a lot girls here that only want bad a.. guys... In my opinion any guy must become romantic and 'softer' (perhaps not so crazy like i am) when he is really in love and not only interested in sex.

Ash i hope that you find guy who really loves you. Then you will see that this guy must be automatically romantic. Love does that with guys too.

Maybe any girl has an idea for me:
I read advices to put some drops of the own scent over the letter or to add some rose petals to the letter. Is that to much?

I think a guy doesnt have to behave like a macho to be masculine.Isnt it nice for a girl when she knows that she caused the guy to be full of feelings and emotions...

It's good to see a romantic man with a respect for women. Like writing love letters? That's classic, yet no one does it anymore. At least I don't hear of anyone doing that, unless it's a note passed at school to set a date for a 'hook up'. But I mean, it's nice to hear of someone actually taking the time to write out their thoughts and feelings about this woman to woo her in his arms, not his bed. Know what I mean?

Maybe it's normal that girls from a forum like 'poems and quotes' like love letters. Sadly my experience is that (can only speak for german) german girls change(d) in a way that they arent so romantic anymore or they are shallow.

And right Lovely Bones... Right now i only want to smell the hair of my girl, want to gently kiss her on the neck or feel her body warmth... I dont miss sex - i miss her voice and her laughter, simply what makes me feel so much for her and not her body.

Sex is one of the most fun activities that exist but it is never No.1 for me in a relationship. In the first time when i am in love with a girl my thoughts are only around things for my heart exclusively and no 'hunger' for sex. I really need some time to develop this 'hunger'. Hehe.

In the first months of our friendship she reacted sometimes warm and sometimes cold to me - i had much doubts that she feels something for me. One day we had a 'breakthrough' and she said that she loves me instead of 'i am fond of you'. Now i know that she did because many guys disappointed her before.
Sorry when i write so much...

We have a lot of problems because of my english language. Sometimes i have a hard time to express what i want to say and i often said something that my girl got wrong. But it is getting better every day and she learns to ask if i say something that sounds stupid to her.

Please keep me updated you both and tell me when you got married :-)

That i thought she made fun of me was one of many language problems/differences.

Funny was also as she wrote once (joking a little bit):
"I think we both should get hitched.LOL."

Oh my... Until she told me what that means i was sure she wanted to make a big journey by feet with me. Hehe.
No dictionary could help me.
