Turning away from the LIght

Winter's wind lash across my face
Barren and cold in my dying soul
Too long has I waited in hope
Finally turning away from the light
My faith in better things lie
In my wailing tomb of menace
Tears only scar my ivory face
As God watches without pity
The venomous dreams enclose me
Leading me away to darkness
Prayers cease to help me out
Left alone in unmerciful fogs
Just a mistake left in the open
Starving, bleeding for some love
But light has denied me of rights
And has taken away my faith
No matter how the snow stains red
Only echos fly in the Heavens
Just a mere shadow to them
Of unimportance in fate's eyes

Forsaken Angel, can't you hear me
I'm drinking my own tears of sorrow
Mighty forces, won't you lift me
Away from the burning flames of Hell
What is this cruelty that is shown
Hearts are parting in loneliness
No one's there to watch me fall
No one cares if death swallows me now
I'm just an insignificant being
Wandering the trees of solemn songs
Tormented yet unable to break free
I've given up all hopes and dreams
Turning away, turning away from the light

Dying candle

The flame almost gone
It is down so low
The warmth of the fire
Has turned into stone.
The brightness is gone,
The shadows have won
A last flicker it made
Before the darkness
Blew it out.
The wind howled
In the distance
Everything is still
The smoke rises
From the wick
The dying candle
Is gone.

Beauty Queen

I'd like to tell you a story
about a beauty queen
who's life wasn't as pretty
as she liked to make it seem

Walking around smiling
all day long
was her way of denying
her life was all wrong

Until that inevitable day
when she was finally falling to fast
yet still trying to live in the past
when in reality she's slowly fading away

Blindly destroying her family and friends
who selfishly helped her to mend
the broken dreams
of a broken beauty queen

Oh the tears she's cried over the years
but none of those tears
can hardly compare
to all the scars that she bares

Constantly wishing the end
would just come a little faster
cause she's spent all she could spend
and her whole worlds a disaster

Disintegrating

I'm not writing my thoughts
Just illusioned images
Pretending to be symbols
To bolster
The failing ingenuity of
Sickening
Love-drowned poems

Break away
From the computer-typed drones
Of universal affection

My thoughts matter not
My words exist not
I am but an illusion

Just got off the phone to my bestest friend, who was crying and talking to me about her niece, so wrote this.

Why?

Little baby, three weeks old,
clutching on to life so bold.
Many problems from the start,
You're in Our prayers and in Our heart.

Born too early, with problems too,
why is life throwing this at You?
Major surgery, twice already,
but You are fighting, to keep things steady.

Now chicken pox, has come Your way,
meningitis too, they found today.
No one knows, if You'll pull through,
waiting is all everyone can do.

My thoughts are with You and Your family,
please keep fighting, sweet baby.
Life to You has been unkind,
but please don't leave, this world behind.

Can i do my poem,It's about speedig, both the car and drug! I did it because i saw some-one i loved get hit, but luckily she survived! And my other mate once took speed (worst few hours of her and probabaly mine as well)!

Speeding!

Kill the speed,
You do not need,
Save a child,
It'll be worth while,

Don't kill the speed,
Then you will succeed,
To dig a grave,
You could have saved

The grave you dig,
Will not forgive,

The moonlight Saw Me Cry Tonight

The moonlight saw me cry tonight
As I stood in its embrace
I let the tears flow endlessly
There upon my face.

My heart was shaking constantly
As my soul was ripped away
It met the darkened shadows
Under the star's display.

I gave way to the hungry hold
That was inside of me
And let the teardrops fall upon
My cheek so gracefully.

Just a few sad memories
That live within my soul
Came to crush my very heart
And leave it in the cold.

But teardrops are a funny thing
For with their cleansing breath
They take away the hurt inside
And give your soul a rest.

My Day

The answers I need...
Are anywhere, but near me!
A tall glass of hard liqueur...
Wouldn't even help, but just make me sicker.
Yes a bad night, turned into a bad day...
But yet I had no choice but to make it go away.
Cause with my day, your worries can't be known...
Or you will be questioned and the hurt will be shown!
So pushing it back in is what was done...
And the depression stood up and said..."I won!"

My Freestyle,

I love doing my own thing,
I want no wedding ring,
Why would I want a man tying me down?
I'd much rather it be my mates hanging around,

I go sunbathing in the rain,
But some people say thats lame,
I wear what I want,
I even have my own font,

I do my own thing because I want too,
I even love visiting the zoo,
I am not afraid to show the true me,
I only pity those who do not show the true thems for every-one to see!

(I hope it's okay, I have only just wrote it down on this post!)
