4. Awake among the Ancient Green trees

I fall asleep under a big cosy blanket,
And I let myself soar.
I already know the path to my paradise,
'cause I've already been there before.

As I walk the road, I can see myself,
My life, as pictures in frames.
I see people I met a long time ago,
but I can't remember their names.

The road is almost finished,
The path is taking an end.
I walk into my very best dream,
Where I don't have to fake or pretend.

I can just lie there, in the grass,
Let my mind just flow.
I can feel the cold grass touch me gently,
as I feel the wind blow.

Here, I have my paradise,
I can fly among the lovely breeze.
Here I can rest my very soul,
and awake among the Ancient Green trees.

Her soul, damned for all eternity
Heart is scarred forever more,
I see she holds black dripping paint
And walks right out the door

She draws the lines; the borders
I gape with widened eyes,
Her face it glowers in the dark
The paint brings out the lies.

Slowly, she pours it on her body
It splashes towards the ground,
And relatively her lips move...
But from them comes no sound.

Her hands hold black dripping paint;
The darkened color of her heart,
Her palms, she faces towards me,
Where sorrows form an art.

Eh, I hope this fits the category. Let me know if not =)

Pick Pink Flowers From Her Head

A silver tear traced her cheek
As she sat upon the swing set
Another day with taunting children
And no where to run

One by one her petals fell
Tenderly down her tattered skin
Her beauty, lost within the thorns
That tore her from her childhood

Her leaves were torn, and scattered
Below her shabby shoes
And there she sat, surrounded by dead grass
Awaiting the crystal droplets

Beautiful petals, covered in pink
Dipped in clouded thoughts
Tear the thorns from her hands
And watch the leaves turn jade

Sapphire drops nurtured her wounds
And wiped away her tears
Pick pink flowers from her head
And banish all her pain

Dancing Through The Silver Mists.

Dancing through the silver mists; she stops to look - -
A shadowed silhouette stood near the street light,
Watching her elegance, such a beautiful sight.
Reaching forward; her shaking hand you took,
Leading her through the fog toward the brook.
Summer shuddered a light breeze; you held her tight,
The rotting stars alive in her eyes that night - -
A tear streamed down her face as she gently shook.

Muttering under her breath - - she walked away;
Silencing her tattered hearts rusty cries.
The moon shone bright on the broken soiree *
As decaying angels, fell from the skies.
Walking amongst us, they led her astray - -
Dancing through the silver mists; she softly dies.

"Blue Venom Inside Her Wandering Brain"

Metal teeth, puncturing her marble flesh
Blood, interrupted, stirred and mixed
Fear, unknown forces intervene
Rage, unleashed upon the 'snake'

Reality is lost
Phases in and out, blurring

The venom works, it changes her
I watch as her eyes turn to glass
I look into her soul and watch it slips away

She was disturbed, but love I still felt
A crystal droplet reaches my chin
Tonight the venom again takes a life

Nymphs of palest green
Dance in the failing limbs
Of a wild oak tree.
They sing her a song of solitude
Strength and grace
Unending.

Standing alone, a beacon of hope
For all who watch
As she is the last of her kind.
Surounded by desolation
The last of the leaves fall victim
To the anger of humanity.
Yet she stands tall
As her white scar blazes
Against the coming
Of the last tide
Of steel.

CRUMPLED ORANGE PETALS

crumpled orange petals
through autumn they fall
mixed color with red and black
so dark it turns, the color looses it's track

one by one the pieces torn
every single day, the feeling is mourn
as it falls on the ground, with screeching scream
a day later, the petals go dim

silently, slowly, brushing it away, it falls

Drink to the Golden Harp of Heaven

There is a beautiful lullaby I know
That my mom use to sing to me.

That all the angels in heaven sang
Whenever one of them got their wings.

The music flowed from a golden harp
And the sound was so very sweet.

All the angels use to shout and salute
Then from their cups of gold they would drink.

Drink to the golden harp of heaven
Is what they proudly sang

Because the golden harp plays beautiful music
For our Great and Glorious King.

This was a hard poem to write. I know it is not my best, but I tried.

Purple lips upon a wedding corpse,
Tears rush down a polished face,
The curse of love is ever near,
Elegantance of trust, sweet as lace.

Leaning down with silver prayers,
Whispering of a fantasy lost,
Speaking to an admirer of affection,
Over our lips of purplse, simply glossed.

A distorted love so pressious, so valued,
Kissing remains to what wastes away,
A final look, falling swiftly apart,
You must let go of her purple lips by the wedding day.
