DO U VOTE FOR EVERY POEM U READ OR ONLY IF ITS GOOD???

If I'm not in a rush I usually vote on poems, unless I think it's a terrible write, I won't downvote. That is just wrong. =/

I never voted, the sytem is flawed as shown by the original post.

I always left a detailed comment about how the poem worked, and more importantly how it didn't work.

My most common complaint was the lack of punctuation. One day you kids will learn that it's the biggest (and most subtle) weapon in your toolbox.

If you do vote but never give a lesser poem a 1, 2 or 3 it deserves you're not helping the poet improve, you're just pulling the wool over their eyes.

Wake up. Start by being honest with yourself and then by beineg honest with others.

I only vote on the poem if i think it is a 4 or a 5. I will comment on it, if i know what they did wrong.. and if i can help them, sometimes i just don't know what they can do to improve it. But yeah.. i only vote a 4 or 5. And I always comment. I think, well, since i've read it, i may as well comment and vote on it too.

I usually vote and comment and I try to be honest but with tact,If I think the poem is really vulgar or so bad that I can`t find anything at all to say,I move on,I just choose to ignore them,I have also stopped commenting on poems about "cutting" I think its too over done and I don`t want to further it by giving it attention.Its a serious problem for some but there are too many copycatters.

I rate most of the poems I read and 99% of the time I rate a 5/5. If I think that the poem is below a 4/5 rating I just don't rate---

If i comment a poem, i'll give it a vote. It's habit now.

I usually just comment with out voting, I dont believe in the voting system I think honest and constructive feedback is more valued than some numeric faceless rating...

well now its a habit..i vote when i comment..voting is usually the first thing i do...cause its quick and its right there, after reading the poem of course...but i dont get this downvoting thing..i mean its one thing to rate a poem thats good low cause your jelous or just dont like the person..but its another thing when you actually dont like the poem..i mean if everyone just limits theyre rating to 4 or 5..then the meaning of getting a 4 or 5 is gone...cause when you get 4s and 5s..your proud cause in ppl opinion you did well..but if we all dont vote unless we think its a 4 or five..then no matter how many people dont like your poem..youll always only know of the people that liked your poem..and its just..well stupid really..i mean you all say you want honest critique and opinion...and then you say, dont downvote....hello..if i think the poem deserves a 2 or a 3...then ill give it a 2 or 3..i dont thinks its downvoting i think its honest opinion..that way ppl will know how good theyre poem really is..oh but the only thing is..if your gunna vote lower that 4...you should explain...or else they wont know how to fix it...i mean the point is for the writter to know what they did wrong and what to fix..well anyways thats all i had to say:)
