    omg I totally forgot Anne Rice...I'm infatuated with Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles, although I'm not too fond of her recent stuff. I think Anne Rice should take a rest, clearly her husband's death hit her hard.

    oh my god, Ella Enchanted. Old book I read when I was really young, but absolutely beautiful. The movie slaughtered the storyline though :(

    "oh my god, Ella Enchanted. Old book I read when I was really young, but absolutely beautiful. The movie slaughtered the storyline though :( "

    ^so sad and true. I basically just pretend that the movie doesn't exist.

    I first read ella enchanted in 5th grade... and I've probably read it dozens and dozens of times since then. I still read it almost 10 years later. when I get too tired of reading "grown-up" books... I take it off the shelf and give it a whirl. Probably have the thing memorized by now...

    Some mentioned it;

    A Child Called [or Named] It. -- Dave Pelzer.

    That book brought me to tears. Mainly because.. I know that in a really huge way, it's true for many people. Child abuse is huge these days, it's so awful. This book just really got to me. Had me bawling like a baby. ;[

    ALL JENNY CRUSIE BOOKS, Out of the dust- Karen Hesse lol uhh Tithe, and Valiant by Holly black, but tithe is better, (modern faery book), harry potter books! lol they are awesome! I am friends with an author known as Sarah Reinke, and she has a new book coming out in July- it is a vampire romance! It looks really good. Oh and She wrote an awesome book called unexpected engagment. And MY ALLTIME FAVORITE BOOK: Candy - by Kevin Brooks. All must reads, and and one more I will suggest, it is called a certain slant of light. Well known, lol but I forgot the name of the author.

    I read entirely too much because I am homeschooled lmao
    But those are all ym must reads. If you like comics I reccomend Calvin and Hobbes.

    God Bless
