Suggestion for Janis!

Janis, you don't seem to be on this website often, I'm assuming due to lack of interest (better things to do). No harm intended, but most of us spend hours daily on here, and it's frustrating to wait for updates to happen. Seems like the weekly poetry contest is more of a monthly contest, if that. Maybe I am misunderstanding your time schedule, appreciation, and/or dedication, but couldn't you sell this website to someone who would be more active? You could probably make some decent money.

That's my suggestion for the day, hope sometime this year you are able to read it.

Mods: If you think Janis will suspend my account for my forwardness, please delete this thread :) Haha, I've had my account suspended once before, and I don't want it to happen again.

Hopefully your poems are saved elsewhere. And just to let you know, that sounded rude. However, you were stating your opinion, and harshness probably wasn't what you intended.

Outa curiosity, have you ever had a website. It's really not the easiest thing to do, and fixing errors is a drag. It takes many hours to do. So give her time, I'm sure things will get better. Remember,she's trying hard to fix the errors we have, to update the contest section can wait. You want all the bugs out first.

I had a question (or two): What's error one? Is there a list of erors somewhere on this site? I tried editing a quote, and I received an error one.

Ah, I often come across as rude, but no, rudeness was not my intention. And yes, Janis is a male.

I understand keeping up with the website is difficult, but maybe he could either find more people to work under him or sell the business to a group of active people who like to see things get done.

My awards haven't been updated for at least a month, and it stinks.

Nonetheless, I agree with her. He SHOULD sell the site if he can't take better care of it.

It's only fair to those of us who spend a good amount of time on it.

As it happens, most of the Mods completely agree with you.

Trouble is, Janis has not communicated with us directly for over 6 months. We suggested buying the site off him collectively, as the Mod effectively run it right now...but he didn't respond.

He is in serious deriliction of duty.
