New color scheme

I do not really think it is the color scheme as much as the brightness. Is there anyway to tone down the whiteness especialy on the forums?

Yeah, the white makes my eyes hurt after I look at it for a while. I have to turn the brightness down on my computer to be able to stand to look at it. I agree that we should be able to pick what scheme we want to use.

There should be greater contrast. Keep the white white, or make it light gray, and make the other colors a bit darker.

It seems different already.

but i miss our logo. =[

I actually can't see any white that's 'disturbing' to my eyes. Maybe that's just me though!

Maybe it's the contrast of my computer. Hmm.

It actually seems better now, i think its the new computer i am on. .. but i have contacts, so it still bugs me. =[

I must say I love the changes that have been made on this site.
I agree that sometimes the brightness does get to my eye's also, but I can stand it, I have good eyes, for others, it wouldn't be so good.
I'm glad that you changed the new comments numbers on our poems red. I was finding it hard searching for them before as they didn't stand out at first. I also like how we have our pictures displaying in the forums now. Livens it up more, I think.
One thing I am curious about though, is why we can't have symbols in our posts anymore. Like the little hearts and such that we used to be able to use. Not something of major importance I know, but I'm just curious, as many people have been wondering too.
I have to agree with what someone said up a bit, about how they are on here daily because they love it so much. I do too. I am addicted to this site, i'm on here everyday pretty much, for hours too. It has made me a better writer, and I have got some of the best friends off here. Well done on such a popular site, it really is amazing.

I love it as well. I think it's a lot better. Easier to find things as well.

Its a nice layout. As for the top of the site, is there supposeda be ads? I don't see anything so the P&Q sign doesn't look too wonderful. The whiteness, how is it too bright. My only bother is the colors chosen for each layout. It should stand out. However, Janis is doing really well.

I like the new site! I think its great and i actually likethe bright colors. It helps when i am at school and not paying attention (like now) and borde, ths colors actually make you seem happier. I like it.
any way, question, does any one else have a prolbem of the footer on the longer forums cutting off a post? maybe it sjust my computer. but just wondering...(sorry if this has already been answered!)
