Do u beleive this true scary storie??

I used to live in this house that's about 30 years old, i moved out in february because the damn place is so ugly(holes in the walls..mice..no doors..writings on the walls) but anyway i let my auntie move in and keep it for me in case i ever needed a place to stay, well anyway, just the other day, she called me and told me this story.....

She was home alone, just herself and her 2month old baby, it was almost 2 am when something banged on the floor beneath her bed,waking her and her baby up. baby started crying hysterically, and while she was trying to calm her baby, she thought she heard noises coming from the basement beneath her, noises like someone growling, crying AND screaming, like as if someone was being tortored down there..then the whole house started to shake.
after that their was silence in the house, the only noise was her baby crying, she listend and heard something running up her basement stairs, down to the end of her hallway..all the while this "thing" was growling..and screaming, knocking every picture of the wall..my auntie reacted fast by getting up to lam her door shut so it wouldnt come inside, as she did that she saw an old naked lady with no face, her body was wrinkled and pale, twiching and growling at her, she said it tried to get in her room so she had to hold her door shut, but she had her cell on her and

I thinks dat crazy

Thats weird..what else happens....all it says is...the thing was trying to get her and....and what???

And what? AND WHAT!?! I want to know what happens...it sounds like a good story....not quite believable, but still a good one.

Well it wasn't a spirit becasue a door would not have stopped them.

Anyway she reached for her cell and called my grandpa?told him what happened and he arrived less than 10 minutes, by this time that spirit had already calmed down and was banging and screaming around downstairs?.so she took her baby and ran out ..well my grandpa and my uncle went in for her and even they said they could hear it downstairs. Well they left the house and still never went back

I know it sounds crazy and unbelievable, I guess you can never believe a story like this unless something like it happens to you, but I swear its true, we dont live in a city, its not even a town, nor a village for those of you who dont know what a reserve is its land with houses all over.but at least a mile or 3 away so yeashe was completely alone and she was scared.i havent talked to her since she told me, but I did talk to my grandpa he told me they have to have a ceremony with three medicine men to scare it out and yea it was a spirit, the medicine man( who has power and visions) has said it was a very angry old lady who wants noone there, spirits can hurt you where I come from people around here can do bad medicine on you to hurt you or scare you, which might explain why this happened to her.but yea anyway ..Sunday I went there, me and my boyfriend just to go check it out¦ see if anything would happen.but the door was solid shut, he and his father in law got it open by breaking the door down, and you know wat? We came to see that the door was nailed shut from the inside.even the back door all the windows were sealed with a board so we all found it weirdcuz whoever nailed the door shut from the inside would still be trapped in there, so our only guess is the spirit had to do it..scary eh?

Thats a great story, and I believe that it could possibly have happened. But because of my religous background I know that the spirit couldn't have harmed anyone and that--ok well let's just say, I think there was more to the spirit than meets the eye. I also think that "medicine man" can't have visions so that sounds a bit lame to me...but if it happened to you, then ok.

Sounds scary, but if it was a spirit, it would have come right through that door =/

^^ me and my sister used to hear that all the time... turns out it was wild cats! but after that, if it was a spirit, theres no way a door would stop them...

These things happen whether you want to believe in them or not, i'll never understand why it happened, and it will always be unexplainable...
but anyway we decided to leave the house alone, who wants to live in a house where something like that happened...hey whoever wants it can have it.
Last night my boyfriend had a nightmare at 1am..he claims he saw Death himself over my body..did that ever freak me out man!! whats your scary stories??

If this story is true and thats all it is is a story, then I'm Santa Claus.

Ain't true. 'Spirits' are not real.
If they were why the hell would it choose a run down home and start growling and crying? That's just pretty lame. 'Spirits' wouldn't be able to make a house shake either. When was the last time a 'spirit' needed to use a door anyways? I think that lady might just be on LSD.

Seems like a good story.. i dunno im interested in that kind of stuff. but i don't know wether i believe it or not.. i guess i take it as a possiblity

My story is kinda wierd and probably my brother playing a joke but I was in my room getting something and my brother was down the hall from me, the bathroom is right across the hall form my room and suddenly the watter in the sink started running, I thought it was my bro but when I came out I realised he was down the hall. I went in a turned the water off and sked him if he did it but he said he was going to ask me that, so it was kinda freaky but not extreme.

Another one was that one night my bro came into my room saying that he heard a knocking coming from insidehis dresser drawer. I told him it was nothing and told him to go to bed, thinking nothing of it I forgot about it, then about a week later I heard a small knocking from my closet. It really freaked me out.

Also I have a fish tank in my room and the light in it is on a timer to come on at a certain time every day, but sometimes for no aparent reason the timer gets reset, it kept happening so every morning I had to reset the timer, it stopped happening but it was really annoying.

In the way of beleiving things I basically believe anything (I dont beleive in god though) I beleive in spirits, poltregiests, everything.

I love how the cynics always seem to be the ones with less logic. Read it take it as is, no need to bash. Keep it to yourself. To the orginal poster, reserves here in Ontario tend to have a lot of ''ghost'' stories behind them. Many Natives here feel the spirits died in such violent ways, they just do not know how let go and dwell in limbo just to seek revenge.

Trust me to be one whos sitting alone in her house whilst reading this stuff. I believe, When i was in my boyfriends 2 days ago we were tlaking about his nan (who died 2 days before) and right in between us bubble wrap fell of the top bunk bed. Now i think that was a symbol telling him shes protecting him. Maybe co-incedence? I dont know..

I lived in this house once and this is no lie. I use to see this light hover at the foot of my bed. My brother use to see his weird creater and a man in his room, and the man had a black cape. Then when I also would walk into a room and literally couldn't see 1 of the people in that room. Plus, ever couple days my mom would hear somebody banging at the front door. We lived in the middle of no where, absolutely no where! It was a scary house!

Reservations scare me once in a while.. i mean, i'm on them ALOT seeing as i'm native [see my grandfather in my picture?] but mostly at night.. but never am i scared when my grandpa's around.. he's very connected to the spirit world and tends to calm them down, it seems.

oh, and my house was built in 1912 and sometimes i think it's haunted. we even held a cleansing, which is where you burn sage and recite prayers. it was really scary because during it [i can feel spirits] i very STRONGLY felt 2 different spirits, oen trying to help and the one we wanted to rid ourselves of. it got to the point where i was huddleing in the kitchen corner freaking out and just pointing as to where my mom should burn the sage.
we never did it in the attic, though, and im convinced they dwell there...

To the original poster: Great story. But I don't believe in spirits or ghosts, so no, not believeble to me. Awesome story tho. you should write a book/poem about it, but with a little other "nonbelievible" stuff added :D
