What is your favorite state or if your country doesn't have states then what is your favorite country and why

I love Iran. It could be a great country. I wish they hadn't made it as it is now.

some african countries sound nice to me as well. it's because of their simplicity. but I can't think of any certain country there at the moment.

and Sweden too. I've heard good things about it.

I love the state of New Hampshire. I want to live there one day. I went there over the summer, and it was the most beautiful place I'd ever seen. It rains quite a bit, and there are so many trees and a perfect combination of city and country. Plus, it's right on the beautiful atlantic ocean, so there is a ton of fresh seafood, and of course the water... downtown Pourtsmouth (city in SE N.H.) is colonial style, very antique, and it's just amazing. I love it.

Um...my favorite states are Utah ('cause I live here) and California (I have no idea why, maybe I just like their beaches).

I want to answer to my favorite country too...so my favorite countries are U.SofA....Ireland, England, France (Ive always wanted to go to France), Italy, Russia, Germany and South Korea. (Ive never been to any of those, but they sound amazing, and I want to see them for myself someday) OH and New Zealand, I want to go there someday too.

I have to say, I have a special place in my heart for South Dakota. I don't live there, but that's where almost my whole family is from. People think it's boring, but... you just have to look a little deeper to see the beauty, and I think that makes it special : )

As far as favorite non-USA country that I've been to, I'd have to say Switzerland. Mountains, lakes, chocolate, flowers..... sigh

California. We have huge cities, plenty of country--open skies, the beautiful Pacific Ocean, warm beaches along the Southern Coast, huge ski resorts in the North. We border Mexico...if you live in SoCal, a day trip to Mexico is fun. We're diverse here, and we accept everyone. We have gangs, hollywood stars, forrests, landmarks...California is just awesome. Great schools, opportunities, culture, animals, land. Yep. California is my paradise.

    Take it breezy.

I love how no one said Indiana. It's such a boring state.

And I'm surprised no one's said New York.
Ah, I'd definately pick New York. It's so beautiful and I just love the site of people walking in big cities for some reason. I'd live on the outskirts of New York City, if it were me...In Chelsea, I think it's called.

And for out of country, Australia. A lot of my friends live there and other than the heat, I think it'd be a beautiful place.

    My favorite state is pennsylvania

no other state has seemed just so breathtaking, lots of green and bright skies.

i also love indiana, maybe because it's my home state, when i came back from illinois last week all my weariness left me when i saw the indiana sign, maybe because it makes me feel secure. sort of like i'm protected in indiana.

i like florida alot too but i wouldn't like to stay.

maryland, west virginia, and virginia are nice, but i'd hate to live there, well i guess i could get used to it if i had to

Indiana to me seems down to earth. for a restless teenager it seems like a trap, which is how i used to feel. but now, i love it like no other. it's like my little country apart from the united states. if we had a conflict like the civil war again, and states raised troops to fight, i think i'd be willing to fight for indiana.

basically, indiana is an adult state. a state where you work alot. it doesn't have the atractions tourists die to see like florida and california's beaches. it doesn't have the hustle and bustle of chicago or new york. or even the pleasant, homely people of the south.

i could go over the world a thousand times over, seeing the taj mahal, the louvre, the hagia sophia, the mammertine prison. but after so much wandering, it's good to be in indiana

Conneticut (sp?) Dunno why. And Hawaii (Even though I've never been there)

And for out of the USA I'd have to say Japan or Ireland. Never been to either but I'd love to once I get the money.

Wyoming. Not just cuz i live there, but because i would have to say it is one of the most beautiful states in the u.s., with the Yellowstone National Park, Rocky Mountains, and the Big Horn Mountains. Part of wyoming being least populated is a good thing, because there are less cities and more places to get away from it all. Awesome Lakes. It's just a beautiful state. It gets lots of tourists.

Favorite Country would be Ireland. It's so beautiful and green. Love the people there too. Very nice.
