The Perfect Signifigant Other

What qualities, interests, looks, ect. would you want in a boyfriend/girlfriend?

I would want someone careing and understanding. Someone who will be there for me through the good and the bad times. Someone who loves me for me.

That's all I suppose.

I would want someone who is respectful and honest, caring and loving and has a great personality, someone who is funny, someone who is goofy but can be serious when the time is right

I want a boyfriend who is smart but not too much smarter than me. I would like him to be "tall" (see the thread labeled "Height >.<"). Also, Id like him to be polite and well mannered, someone who can show chivalry but who will let me fend for myself sometimes. I want him to be sensative enough that he can show me sympathy when I need it, but not too sensative that he's a pansy and is afraid of hurting me. I dont want him to treat me like a porclain doll. Id like him to have the same standards as me and to respect my ideas. I want him to do some of the talking too and to share his thoughts as much as I do. I would also like him to care for me as much as I do him. Um...I think that sums it up....if Ive forgotten anything Ill let ya know!

I would want a guy who you could laugh with, cry with, and just hang out with. Someone who would stick up for you without making you feel defenseless. Someone caring, kind, and supportive, and most of all, someone who you could tell absolutely anything to, and they would never say a word to anyone else.

Nice, funny, kind, caring, listens to what i have to say, cares about me for who i am on the inside not jsut on the out side, doesn't care what "click" i hang out with, doesn't care if i about stupid (somtimes) can hanndle me when im hipur, isn't into drugs, knows how to have fun with friends, but also knows when not to follow the pack. Is a gentalman, lets me buy my own stuff, doesn't shower me with gifts, doesn't always clear everything with me, is spontanious, likes adventure, would take me to a hockey/football/basketball/whatever soprt he likes game, HONEST, some one who is ok with going out with his friends and letting me do my own thing without thinking he did something wrong. Has friends who are girls,............but mostly treats me right.... </~too bad the guy who is all this and more, doesn't have me yet, and the one who did(have me) let me go~/>

A sense of humor is very important, i mean come on they have to be able to make you laugh. I think that for a realtionship to really last your significant other needs to not only be your boyfriend or girlfriend, but your best friend. You need to be able to really enjoy everyday things with them.
