Can anyone help me with the laws in South America?

Ok, I was wondering if any of you knew what age laws there are in South America? I need to know the laws about coming of age *like here in the USA it's 18* and when your able to take care of yourself by law down there =P My family is thinking of moving there and I really would love if any of you could help me out =) Even if you don't know anything about this law, anything would be helpful and I'd love to talk to any of you that either live anywhere down there or have been there ^.^

Well, either Argentina or Ecuador but really anything would be helpful =P I'm 17 right now and was wondering if they have the same age laws about minors and stuff like that since my boyfriend wants to go also *blushes lol* We're going to have to be careful as it is here since he's turning 18 in October and I won't be 18 till April =P
I just wanted to know if anyone around here knew more then I did about anything down there *which wouldn't take much since all the books I've read so far don't take about how the countries are really run =P
If you know anything or know someone on here that does it would be more then helpful =)

Sugust you don't annoy the argentina government they used to bundle dissidents into aircraft and drop them into the ocean far out at sea.

If anyone else knows anything about any of the laws, weather, people or anything I'd love to hear it =) It would help a lot ^.^ I've read a lot of books that told me a lot of what life and the areas are like but it's no the same as someone who's actually been there or if you know any really good sites I could go to =D

Welllllll.........some places by the time you are 16 u can do what ever........u can even take like for example if a guy took a girl when they were in a relationship and there parents wouldnt let them be together the guy could take his g/f and they could live together and the parents couldnt do anything about it.....lol.........man that is messed up but funny. GO MEXICO!!!!!!!!!!!

Lol Well I can't say that I see it as screwed up as long as the two teens are mature enough to know what their doing, but yes hehehe It is really funny =D
I actually went to that site ^^ that someone put up there and it helped a lot but I didn't know that the actually age of consent in Washington *which is where I live* is actually 16 except in certain cases and it lists those cases =P Means that I don't really have to worry about it all that much =D I'm 17 going on 36 lol
