    Paris of londen..
    oh my god

    what next

    ruame and naw yerok?
    london is the richest city in the woooorld etc, has the wheel big ben the gherkin queen's palace red phonebooths and buses LOL, it also has a lot of foreigners but it doesn't matter if you can blend and not get caught in the crowd.

    paris is a beautiful place to shop, eat and stuff, but you DEFINITELY need someone to go with you. alone just isn't as fun. the streets are cleaner than london etc, there's the EIFFLE TOWER :D :D!!!

    buuuut it depends what you're up for.

    landmarks, they both have them, one not as much, but they're both nice places to go to if you haven't been there before. I can't choose for you, so you'd probably have to look them both up instead of asking other people for you :}

    Personally Frankfurt-am-Main in Germany. It's much more beautiful than Paris. But between London and Paris I'd say London. It's just a lovely place and the atmosphere is magnificent. It has lots of historical places and no Frenchies!! Lol.

    I've never been to either but I've heard and seen a lot of great things about them. Why not both? Isn't there a train that can take you from one to another in like an hour?

    I definitely plan on going to both real soon though?

    London...boring? :O
    "If you're bored of London you are bored of life" comes to mind.

    London is amazing. The buildings are amazing, the underground (against what people say) is amazing and the city is so full of wonderfully named places and streets, little hide-aways, brilliant pubs, gigs and some of the buskers are fantastic.

    You can also travel around the buroughs (not just central) and find yourself in totally different little universes with different religion, dress and values than the last.

    I've been away from London for over two months and I cant wait to get back...I miss the museums and galleries, I miss Covent Garden and the buskers, I miss the underground and the people, the parties and Filthy Mc'Nasty's Whiskey Cafe...-sighs-...I miss the squirels in Hyde park...I dont bother with Camden (these days) too much...but I miss the banana fritters from Camden Locke...

    I cant wait to get back...

    Hey Vix - I feel the same way... Im Australian but I've been living in London since 2001 on and off... when Im home I miss it so much - I miss hoping on the tube with a drink before heading out to a pub. I love Waxy O'Conners - even tho it gets a bit packed. I love that every corner is a big green park, even in central London. I love the old buildings and the theatre shows and the little pubs, restaurants and cafes on every street and every corner. I love how in winter all the shops do up their Christmas windows, not sparing a penny! I love how all the bands come here - so you can pick and choose who you see... and dont get me started on the summer festivals!!! I love the high streets and the little shops where you can get things for £5 per garment. Theres always something new and exciting going on for everyone's taste. I tend to agree with you about Camden - totally changed - but still nice for a sunny Sunday to sit in a pub there overlooking the locke and get your fresh fruit and veg there. Definitely London over Paris anyday. I do like France too - but Paris is just ... well... not my cup of tea.
