I want to publish a childrens book....help?

I have a cute childrens poem that I want to turn into a book.. I have to get illustrations and stuff.. does anyone, who has published a book or is trying, have any suggestions or help involving the process of publishing it? Does anyone know a good website to go to to look into it better?

There are no criminals running the government. There's a think called impeachment. If they do something illegal they are kicked out of office. And the law isn't a hypocrite. If you ever say that about a police officer again then I severly hope you get your ass beat by one of those 'thugs' you said you'd like to kill in your "I want to be a fighter" thread. Stupid dumbass.

Anyways submit a portion of your story (say a chapter) into a publisher and ask them if they would publish your book.

check out the publishing business. it is a lot of work. youll need to be prepared for rejection.
