Why doesnt everyone rate a poem when they read it?!

    Why doesnt everyone rate a poem when they read it?! This i frustrating lol i look for constructive criticism and i get nothing :(

    Because the voting system is flawed in that in order to get votes you must either be well liked in the P&Q discussion or be disliked....

    And frankly poetry cannot be rated....In the purest term...

    Why does it matter? I personally think it's the comments that matter. Well the good worthwhile comments anyways. The only thing that irks me is if the rating puts me below 4.3 what can I say? I like medals they intrigue me. :)

    I think votes are better then comments. idk i just think they mean more

    the only thing for votes is to show up with a higher rating, but really, it's only a matter of opinion, it says nothing about your poetry.
    comments, preferably constructive ones, are much more important than little numbers

    I sometimes don't vote or comment because sometimes, what I read is utter failure that a "1" would be too light on them.

    Other times I don't care enough. =]
