My parents are the same way.

When I was 14, they sat me down and told me that my apparent obsession with blood-sucking creatures was extremely unhealthy.

But, over time they realized that I wasn't going to change, so they just accepted it.

Along with several other od my weird fasinations (i.e. body peircings, Ville Valo, rainbow hair dye, German techno, Visual Kei, ect.).

My mom was like that too.

And my dad was even more against it.

So, I just went out and did it anyways.

Yeah, I got in lots of trouble at first, but now they understand that they can't control me forever.

Plus, even if they did make me take out some of my peircings at first, I'd just repeirce it myself. [With a sewing needle.]

I'm just hardcore like that.

One time I decided that I really wanted an eyebrow peircing, so I took a saftey pin in 4th period and went at it. Only later did I realize that I fergot to sterilize it and by the time I got home, it was really sore and infected.

Yikes.
