Valuation of a person

by noodles84   Aug 2, 2014

I couldn't see beyond my pasture,
The grass was no greener to me,
But one thing that was seen...
Is that my grass wasn't green.
All dead, yellow, rotting....

That's why I sprung to the unknown,
Into the unwelcoming, unfamiliar I flown
To take my heart and take my blest
Find another home, another nest

My veins aren't black, dirty and rotten..
my hearts not hollow, my souls not twisted or forgotten
I have life and love, my blood is red and my heart cries.
I am a person, and I will die, what will be will be,
But I'll always be worth more than you see
