Crushed.

by Poet on the Piano   Nov 11, 2014

/

sin is not innocent -
an unidentified child,
ravished, struggling
to shed unclean coats;
a man in the park
cheating life
with lustful stares,
waiting for consummation
from death

while storms thrash
and holler

i stay solemnly in bed,
discouraged by the
prominence of sin,
by its relentless lure

(see me)
between these
shortcomings

man in the park
innocent sin
unidentified child
see me
crushed
