Does It Get Better?

They always promise
That it gets better
Life goes on
This won't last forever

But I don't think it does
Nothing ever goes right
I know I'm unstable
And I can't put up a fight

I just can't get past it
What if it gets worse
What if it all just stops
What if life's a curse

Does it get better?
Not likely in my case
But I'll just suck it up
And put on a brave face.
