Remember me

by ShawdowDancer   Feb 20, 2008

As the feet walk above my grave
remembering a kind hearted gentlemen
that was brave
i was quick and breezy never to easy
for when i spoke i would never
choke
i brightened people days
with simply a hey
maybe it was the light in my eyes
when i walked bye

***

do not look down and shed a tear because in this
casket i have no fear
remember me with good not bad and how
i cheered you when you were sad
i have no regrets and no fears
just don't let memories of me disappear

Your poem was extremely well written, Catherine. no one in this world wishes to be forgotten in the end, and i think you expressed your thoughts very well. keep up the good work! I look forward to reading more of it.
