Summer nights at the train tracks

by Empty Space   Feb 21, 2008

Remember how we used just to run off,
Covering our faces with the fake laugh,
Stealing all the girls from the big guys,
Desperately trying to find a place to hide,
Only listened to the stuff that was indie,
Feeling all the hormones that was in me,
Forgetting that we had to go classes,
When she poured wine in our glasses,
The dizziness went for three hours,
Sleeping off in several different showers.

Oh that time was magically great,
We was sure this was our fate,
Just to run away at night,
We only did it out of spite.

We used to run along the train tracks,
Alcohol and tobacco in our backpacks,
Did not believe all those adult lies,
As long as we stared into each other's eyes,
Stars shone through the rainy cloud,
We kissed and I was god damn proud,
To have found my high-school remedy,
The world spun around you and me,
With all our friends sat by the bon-fire,
You were everything I could desire.

Oh that time was magically great,
But this was never our fate,
Because these times are alright,
I'm gonna act just out of spite,
To relieve those summer nights,

again...
