The last piece of poetry

by Empty Space   Mar 3, 2008

I need to explain the choices I made.
I believed I had it all,
but I pushed you away.

Grey skies lurk over me,
explaining to me how,
and where I went wrong,
I've waited too long.

I was lost in my own world,
of depression and despair,
believing it was fair,
to ignore.

This is my last thought,
that I'll share with the world,
and it's all about a girl,
it's not a poetry-revolution.

All of my words are spoken,
by strangers that have been,
through the same.
All I ever did was adding,
my personal touch,
of how I miss her so much.

My last words of poetry,
of how much you meant to me,
and all I ever used to be,
will never be read,
before we're all dead.

I'll bet my life on that.

That was a great piece, although the flow was really jagged at some points, still really good.
Please keep writing, you have lots of talent =)

    Take care,
